Hey! :D Saw your post on the GoT subreddit and really liked your video :) I absolutely love the game, got over 400 hours due to the multiplayer but when I recently played New Game +, I noticed a lot of issues you address here. I originally wanted to play it in Japanese, but the lip sync was so horrible that I was never able to take any cutscene seriously. I either had to switch to English and have Jin wear a mask, or I think I would have had a miserable time and the story would have had no chance of gripping me as much as it did. I must say the running, climbing or stealth animations and clipping flaws you mentioned hold the least weight to me in regards to breaking immersion, a lot of that obviously needs to be improved, I just think they didn't have the time to do so. One of my biggest flaws with the game is one you also mentioned: When it is not a cutscene, people will always stand in front of each other like a tree, barely moving and just spouting out their lines at each other. It's insanely bad, I don't think even believe SP Productions was happy with that, I just think they didn't have the time and the resources to animate those interactions the way games like RDR2 can and does. No joke, this is what it reminded me of: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp3KfYeNnrCWmcU (go to the 2 min. mark xD) I definitely agree with the cinematography flaws, that wide shot of the 5 major characters standing there, stiff like trees, along with that wide pan shot, it legit made me cringe^^ At one point, I either didn't get what you were saying or I would disagree heavily. It was when you compared GoT to games like Watch Dogs and AC: Unity. You explained how those games have smoother and more immersive animations and I definitely agree with that. I would however 100% disagree with the statement that Watch Dogs or AC: Unity do a better job at immersing the player than GoT. In my opinion Watch Dogs has one of the most bland worlds, characters or story I can think of. If your character has smooth animations, yet has no depth, motivation or development whatsoever, I won't be immersed in the slightest. I wasn't sure you acknowledged that that factor also has a major impact on ones immersion in any game. In any case, really liked your video and I must say that the very narrow review of only the immersion and cinematic aspect of the game was very rare and refreshing to see :)

(If you could collaborate with someone, is there anyone you have in mind, for the future, or if you could just collaborate with anyone?) I do have someone in mind. Just gotta find them. You just have to find them. Uhhhm, there's this drummer, uhhh **extremely cute laugh** can you imagine of I just gave them a different drummer? Yeah. There's just this drummer in this other band, uhhh, I would do anything, to collaborate with that drummer, because like-- Forever. Right now I'm really feeling like... Yeah, there's a couple lead singers/keyboard/(something i didn't get)/ukelele/(another one I didn't get) players that I've really been wanting to work with a lot. Yeah, that's cool man. You know what man? You know what man? I don't know about that man. I don't know about that man. Uhhh, I don't know. We might collaborate with somebody at some point. Cheers. You know what? I wanna collaborate with you. Let's do it. You wanna do it? Yeah. Alright. To another Collab Few years.

Interviewer: This is like a bromance and, you must have been jealous when he got married, right? Tyler: Yeah, it was the cover up, for our relationship. Josh: I don't really wanna talk about it. Tyler: You don't wanna talk **laughs** that's good. Josh: But yeah. In all seriousness it is just a cover up for us.

One thing I'm always telling Josh is like, "Dude, I need you to tell me that I'm amazing." Because, you know He is amazing. Thank you. I'm telling you. And you, you're amazing. Oh, that's not part of the agreement but thank you. That is. Thank you. Oh, yeah. You're great. Oh, thanks. You know, you're the best. So we, uhh, we make each other think that we're good at what we do, and that's pretty much the only way that we're able to take the stage. It's to believe something that's 100% not true. (Except it is true because they are both amazing and the best)

...We didn't know what we were supposed to be doing. We didn't know. We both taught ourselves how to play instruments, and I don't mean he taught me how to play the piano and I taught him how to play the drums, it's not what I mean. I know that when I say it, you might think that, but it's not what I mean. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. You know what man? I don't know about that man. I don't know about that man. That's our new thing. Yeah, we've been saying that a lot lately. Yeah, so what you say is: "You know what man?" I don't know about that man. Yeah. So you just gotta, you know, you just gotta do it. What you do is, so you say: "You know what man?" And usually when someone says "You know what man?", you're thinking "Oh, this guy knows what he's talking about", like "You know man? He's gonna hit me with some knowledge", and then you let them down with: **looks at josh** I don't know about that man. So you can use that, you know. Yeah, you can use that.

I love how this interview showed how much knowledge about drums Josh has. And not because of how he played. He not only realized the snare was untuned, but he checked to see why it was untuned because he had his own guesses. He said it was broken. Then when he tried to play it he realized it was going to be a lost cause and tried to play on the side, which confused tyler to the point where he didn't start playing again. He asked Josh what he was doing and Josh said it sounded better, and it did go better with the song. Josh is super smart and super talented, and his gift for playing drums isn't spoken about enough, that is why I love the end of the interview so much.
