So let me see. Blew a gasket for an $80 repair. Now it’s knocking like a disco. Is there no warranty? Outstanding group BTW. 🔥

I totally forgot about this great song!!! I had a friend that I grew up with my ho introduced me to this classic. He was one heck of a guitar player. Just picked up a guitar and in a couple of months he was out doing everyone around him. He died from some rare muscle disease and I miss him terribly.

You need to dump that thing in the Bay if it takes 200 gallons from LA to Frisco! My # 2 driving song of all time.

I grew up in the Bay Area. When I left home and began my adult life, traveling all over America, I was surprised that this was more of a regional hit. I thought this was one of everyone’s favorite songs. It still is one of mine all these years later.

One of the greatest songs ever. Great guitar and so funny. My sister had a Rambler. Reminded me of all my friend's beaters.

Same with me. Love the guitar solo and on this performance it was duplicated right off the album. Oh the days of being young. 😊🎉

I had been looking for this song for decades....didnt know the name or any of the lyrics, but I could hear it in my head.....I heard it on the radio when I was a kid, but I never listen to the radio anymore so there was no way I would be lucky that it happened to be on if I did listen......AI saved the day......google has a new feature where all you have to do is hum the melody, and after all these years I found the song. AI is wonderful!!!!!!!

1981 was one of the best years in a decade (especially the first half) that had so many incredible groups and tunes. Foreigner 4, Journey's Escape, REO Speedwagon's High Infidelity, Styx's Paradise Theater, Kim Carnes with Bette Davis Eyes, Rick Springfield with Jessie's Girl, Hall and Oates, Alan Parsons Project, The Police, ELO, Dan Fogelberg, Eddie Rabbitt, Kook and the Gang, Blondie, the Pointer Sisters--and so many more. What's amazing about this particular song is this essentially one hit wonder band is Dutch, and they rocked it then and now. The overall feel of 80s music--whatever genre--was upbeat and fun. While there is some of that still around, the overall theme has not been fun in a long time...BBT80s!

Heard this today on the local radio station. Had to watch this video again. Couple dozen times at least. One of my all time favorites. The band is spot on, clear, crisp, clean in every department. Great vocals. Born in 59 and so grateful for the 60s 70s 80s and early 90s We had the absolute best bands, best songs best sound. Every band live could sound like a recording because they had real talent! No computers, no auto tune, just pure raw talent. Alot of digital technology was becoming available but many didn't need it. I remember swapping out the old 8 track and installing a fancy state of art cassette player! Man I thought it was space age stuff. Sounded so good. Wore the tape out putting this song on repeat to many times. Riding around in my hot rod LeMans with beautiful, sexy, sweet sweet sweet Jeanie. Miss her and those days. We are all lucky to have lived it. It will never happen again

How comes so many great guitar riffs are done on SGs? Must be a reason? It's one of the first things I notice when watching music videos, how many SGs are being used by top ax players.
