2024 was my reset after 10yrs, went with a G430 10k, M2 3 wood(IYKYK) smoke 5 wood, stealth 2 7 wood, smoke irons 6-GW, upgraded to newer wedges, sm9s 56/60 and still game a taylormade TPA V blade but did finally grab a mallet versa 7 loved it but then they release the jailbird square to square and that will be the only thing I change for a 150 more why not and that will be my forever bag since I’m in my 50s now

I chose I530 because of stock shaft options. I can hit any Iron and smaller the head the more confidence I have. I actually have a Blueprint S pitching wedge I hit quite well

I game 245 4 to 7 iron and 241 8 to pw. Lofts changed a bit but great irons. The 245 is more your p770, I believe they’re not in the category of p790 or t200

To what extent coud one differentiate "training" and "playing" with regard to the BLUEPRINT S and T models? Assuming that one already has reasonably correct striking skills, would not such a demanding club (the "T") (one that makes you work) be an excellent "training" iron? One can use one's "old" trust cavity back BLUEPRINT S when playing matches, tournaments or for a registered round for handicap improvement when scoring has priority? I could imagine practicing with the BLUEPRINT T while still using my BLUEPRINT S for matchplay or tournaments. What do you think?

I don't think you can go wrong with Mizuno tbh. Always look great, better quality control than TM, and feel better. I like a brand that doesn't have to shout through marketing to sell its products- always feel that marketing spend hits manufacturing costs.

I’ve got a Ping fitting coming up in February because I’m struggling with my longer irons, probably due to a loss swing speed. Currently playing i210s, which in my 7 - PW I’ll probably keep with maybe a bit of loft and lie tweaking. Thinking of i530s for 6 down. Great bit of info here about lie angles of wedges though. I was fitted before with red dot (1 deg flat) throughout the bag. Maybe it’s why I tend to miss left with my wedges. Interesting. Will see what they say on the day.

The Ping 10K is so so soooo much better in my opinion. Price and looks should not be equal to performance. Maybe split out dispersion, distance, etc? People are looking to save strokes and the 10K does that better than TM.

I have a set of G430 and G730 irons. Both are retro specs with graphite shafts. I prefer the looks and sound of the G430 but the set I use most often are the G730. They are at least a half club longer and in my mind a bit more forgiving. They are loud but I really don’t care about that. I switch clubs occasionally however my tournament irons are always the G730s. I’m 72 and play off a 9 index.

Have they sorted out the paint quality yet. The putter looks good when you first buy them, but after 9 - 12 months of use the paint chips off and the putter looks like it's 10 years old. Worst durability of ANY company that makes putters.

This is really all nothing but a bunch of b******* and a way for golf companies to sell more clubs that are not necessary back in the 60s and 50s and even 70s and 80s there weren't 900 different kind of wedges you had a pitching wedge and you learned to open the. I am still hitting my G 25s senior shaft. Getting good numbers for my speed swing. Spin is good with the irons. My 9 iron goes about 100 yards yards. Spin is average of 7800 so I believe that is very good? Cheers

I found MP 243 to have wonderful feel and very forgiving but a bit clunky like T150. Looks like Blueprint S, ZX7, T100 and P7CB have the max sole with for most pros, men and women.
