the colonialists destroyed the natives and their culture and now they admire them? you hypocrites have no shame? don't you ever pay your karma?

Nice Photography. Typical Navajo Nation script for the narrator. Did you notice how many times the word "sacred" was used? If you go, get used to it. The Dine' are almost Orwellian in the language and wording they use when communicating with billagaana (their word for white people). This video tries and fails to walk a line between encouraging tourism, but strictly on terms set by the Dine'. Of course, this is their land and control of access is their right. Just be aware that if you are not Navajo and visit there, you will be made to feel like walking on eggshells you'll be so supervised. Chocolate Falls, featured in this, is CLOSED PERMANENTLY due to tourist trashing of the place. I love the Dine' and their land. They clearly do as well.

A Navajo zoo??? Zoos suck!! They are remnants of colonialism and show humans arrogance towards other living creatures. How disappointing the Navajo Nation thinks this is a good idea!

None, Navajos don’t get any stipend, our tribe is too big, we don’t know what happens to that money either, all audit reports are done in secret. They release tracts from time to time saying how much jobs it’s giving and how much it’s given to charity. I don’t believe it, I was against it.

So why where the local Sheriff’s department involved in a “protest”? Wouldn’t that be a conflict of interest of what they doing in the job and/or in uniform?

What a wonderful interview. Mark truly is a special light in his students lives. I will never be able to repay him for the ability to not only give my daughter the understanding of Geometry, she desperately wanted, in 1 month, but to help her enjoy math and bee cited about the next class. Mark, gives his humanity to his students. I know In many ways, even over a zoom classroom it was what made my daughter able to relate to him. It goes so far. Mark thanks for being a Guiding light in our young peoples lives.

They found out just How illegal hosting a parade after being denied permission was, and now are trying to call it a protest. 🤣🤦🏻 Thanks for showing me who NOT to vote for. Gotta appreciate racists showing their TRUE colors....

This is as much of a parade as a kitten is a lion. More like a bunch of people showing up to throw a temper tantrum. I mean at least put some effort on, y'all didn't even try to make this a good parade.

The Shiprock Pinnacle is shouldn't be on this video. It's a sacred site and there is NO consensus for tourism there. The Navajo Tourism is just an exploitation of the Navajo culture and people. They are not even considerate of the Navajo people's rights and culture.
