So this video was so helpful to me. I have an SLK 320 but all the videos for MB show other models that are slightly different. This video of a Crossfire shows the same layout of my SLK of course, and so the true location and better yet, it cured me of the idea of trying to release the electronics wire first!! I now see I have to not see that is I have to feel for the bolt on the underside of the sensor piece. My SLK does indeed have a heat shield so this will be a bit tight but I think now, armed with the best method for my model, I can do it! I will update soon. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

wait is that seriously just a pulley, no tune or anything? i want to buy an ibf pulley and start getting things ready to make the most of a tune, but my oil light just came on during the drive back from getting tires (go figure) so im kind of at a stand still until i can get it in a shop, awesome build man i need mine to be this fast at least!!!

Well thank you very much I have a 2004 slk 32 after several searches I narrowed the problem down to the k40 relay or the cps The car would alway start cold the after a while would just shut off . Then 20-30 minutes would start again! People are not very nice when you stall in four lane traffic!!! Unable to get in the shop i watched your video a couple of time and i am glad to say I was able to do this myself. You’re awesome for doing this video I hope this helps others

You don't need to pull the fender liners- just turn the steering wheel to the right to get access to the caliper bolts.

Checked with the dealer today, service charge to replace alternator: $84+tax ... very good. Cost of alternator from dealer: $1,317+... HOLY SH**! It's easier to remove crank sensor with 2 small heat shields removed. Mine rattled on spring start up awhile back, removed cam, crank sensor cleaned them up, presto. Yeah always replace heat shields. Clean rinse dry KN filters twice a year for good throttle response, and re oil !

Any advise? Replaced crank shaft sensor now it just starts and dies, threw map code replaced it as well. Still just starts and dies? Any help I’d appreciated! Before I started replacing sensors car ran and drove fine but would shut off at full throttle.

Pro tip: use a roller. The small foam rollers are perfect.

Thanks for the information. I'm replacing the cup holder with an aftermarket bin holder. I have a repair manual for a 2006 SRT6 vehicle which has helped me, but I don't have one for my 2005 Crossfire convertible. I was not sure how the trim around the shifter comes off!

Have an 05 with 35k. Picked up NW Overdrive Pulley kit and Tune hoping for great results. Would be interesting to see dyno numbers and 0-60 with my set up. I don’t have any other mods aside from what’s listed.

Although I love the power and making more, my wife is all about the cruising and not racing. Are there any downsides on drivability to any of the mods I need to worry about? Thanks.

Unfortunately the Chrysler crossfire srt6 isn't 330hp they put that number there for sale 😕 the car exact horsepower is 354hp the same exact AMG engine supercharged engine in my SLK32 AMG engine supercharged with 354hp
