Remember this as the first gay magazine I saw on tv.thanks to channel 4,which was brand new back in 1982. I was 21 and it was amazing to see proper representation of lesbian and gay on tv.remember this is a good 15 years before the internet .I'll always remember 'out on Tuesday's as a ground-breaking series thanks for posting it

Does anyone know where I could watch the particular episode called Storm In A Teacup which was part of the Summer's Out or Out series, as Out On Tuesdays was renamed? Came out in 92 or 93?

Thanks so much for putting this up. Like others who have commented I was a young person coming out at this time, and looking back now, in some ways, it is such a delight as a forty five year old to have benefitted from the legal changes which have made my life so much easier. Having said that, I watched this documentary with my partner recently, and sadly, it is a shame that even now, in the working environment homophobia is still alive and kicking.

Thank you so much for posting this.. it takes me back.. I recall watching this as a teenage gay man. This TV programme made me feel a part of a wider world which was not apparent around me at the time- I felt I was the only gay teenager in the world! I recall being bullied at school by students and teachers. The teachers, I guess gathered that they could bully me because of the Secion 28 legistlation which was obvioulsy antagonsitic against offering support to a young gay man or woman who needed support in feeling free to be themselves and talk to an adult about their troubles. This was a very difficult time for me and I always looked forward to this programme.Great to look back at this wonderful TV programme.

Ruth hunt /stonewall are a disgrace to the LGB community, not only have they impeded equal marriage ,now ruth "clueless" hunt does not support a boycott of dorchester hotel(where they party for one of their meaningless awards and a nosh up) owned by the sultan of brunei, who has recently approved a murderous stone the gays to death bill Hunt and stonewall are completely out of touch with the community the claim to represent and are more in touch with their own vested interests than that of a supposed charity.

What percentage of Tesco's employees are lgt or b? Is there a homosexual in a position of recruiting, hiring or is upper management lgt or b. The problem is when lgtb takes over upper management they push straight men out. I've read and heard of this very thing is happening at home depot and homeland security.
@nicklansley4 жыл бұрын
A bigger question is why there were only straight men in upper management? Why was there no LGBT representation? Out at Tesco, when it launched, gave Tesco LGBT colleagues the courage to go for those upper management positions where they had not felt welcome before.
