Wow! What a find! I have always loved the 1955 and 1956 Inperials. When I was 19 I worked at a Buick Oldsmobile dealership in a small Wisconsin town. We had a customer who would bring his 1956 Imperial in and we would change oil and perform minor repairs. What a neat car. It had factory air conditioning. I had never seen one with the evaporator in the trunk. I’m 67 now and still remember that black Imperial.
