Hello. In 1992 the vibe was dark and strange but I kept the faith with Warrant (Dog eat Dog), Steelheart (Tangled in Reins), Firehouse(Hold your Fure), Bon Jovi ( you mention it), Black Sabbath ( Dehumanizer) and even Vince Neil's "You're Invited but your friend can't Come. But, but I sugest you and album, the band is Saints and Sinners from Canada, a very true Hard Rock Good Sounding Album. Thanks for you time and video.

Great White kept a positive vibe in '92 with their 'Psycho City' album, producing some of that more 'up' music in an otherwise changing musical landscape. I think Kiss' strength on 'Revenge' also had a lot to do thanks to Bob Ezrin returning to produce that album. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and memories of '92!

Ace's album was good, but the album that changed things, Welcome to the Jungle for sure! I def liked Def Leppards first few albums, but Hysteria is where they lost me. Not really in the metal stuff, the INXS album was what a lot of my friends were listening to at the time.

Though shalt is my favorite song on Revage too.🤘 But Unholy, Paralyzed and Spit are great too.🤘 Gene Simmons‘ songs on Revange are all good. In my opinion his voice was getting better / stronger with his age.

OMG, I am a long time Norwegian Kiss-fan, soince 1981, but after Lick It up I put Kiss on mute....but when I heard Revenge in '92, I was overjoyed by the quality of songs and the rawness ini the sound. Thanks for great episode!

I thought Animalize was pretty good. And they had a few good singles over the years (e.g. Tears Are Falling, Forever). Hot In The Shade was weak.

Interesting you gave some time to Metallica, well, if you wish check a song called Horrorscope from Overkill, the song and the video are fine. Returning to Hard Rock, Kix's songs Rock &Roll Overdose, Cold Chills, and Danger Danger's Beat the Bullet are great.1991 was the last year of a great era. I turned 13 in late December of this year. It was incredible how kids my age were into this music and overnight the next year were strictly into grunge. I stuck with metal and hard rock. Love this video and the music in it - and I too had a cat named Tiger who I miss. Great video and channel.

….and I want to add I love the midnight Tower Records stories. I have co workers in my twenties I try to explain this to to hammer the point how culturally important music was then versus today. Due to my age and parents, they were not too happy me bringing home “parental advisory” albums for Guns N’ Roses.

@@theheavymetalkitchen7607 I think there’s a misunderstanding. “This year” being 1991, the year I turned 13. I should have worded that better. I’ll be turning 46 in December, 2024. I was referring to my age and parents in 1991 with the parental advisory thing, as I was listening to G N R as early as age 10 - which looking back as someone in his mid forties - was probably too young. Exposure to MTV at a very young age.

Hi Nina. Back in 1991, I was living in Chicago and I remember all of those albums coming out. I thought the Metallica album was fine. I have never been a fan of GNR or Tesla so I gave their albums a miss. I saw the Hollywood Vampires tour in a small venue and I had a good time. I loved extreme. You forgot Soundgarden Bad motor finger! 😮 Mama said by our old friend Lenny Kravitz was also pretty good.
