The Chauffeur is about relationships. When you've taken your relationship as far as it can go, you act as a Chauffeur to the person you're breaking up with, guiding them to their next relationship. Le Bon is the real deal as a poet. I'll agree to disagree with you on his singing abilities. He's 66 years old now and is singing better than ever, much better than his contemporaries. Listen to any of the songs on Future Past (2021) or listen to his Bowie cover of Five Years (2021) and try to tell me he's not a good singer. Thanks for the review.
