Every Jamaican knows that they won't get anything from this oil find. The government will lie,they will be involved in conspiracy to duck the Jamaican people with the help of former and present colonialist . Anyhow, let's wait and see. The people will not benefit because our leaders are crooks.

Rwandair will need to quickly alter its pricing structure to out-compete Ethiopian. They charge $900 to fly Bujumbura-Kigali economy return, a flight of 35 min and 175km. Such a ticket should cost less than $200.

No matter Jamaica was smart to own 100%. Of petrojam. Hopefully shares will be offered. United oil and gas shares can be bought to investors. Jamaica will not take 42% when they own 100% and you can't drill without them
@DennisThompsonjr-g5tАй бұрын
The real deal is in half of Jamaica .31/2 million football fields of oil. Is beyond $70 billion 31/2 million football ball fields of oil based in inflation is close to $7 trillion making the gdp more than duba.... look at it as pancake now imagine 31/2 million football fields of oil.is beyond that price now petrojam is 100% own by the government anf they hold are the shares No shares for the Jamaican public as yeti.

I think Rwanda Air wants to take over Ethiopian Airlines as the number 1 airline in Africa and become a hub. Brilliant
@TheArctoАй бұрын
I can see Rwanda wanting that exactly, they will definitely be a great hub for east Africa especially if not the main hub with the way they are developing

Ethiopian airlines already finishing up $6B airport in 2029. Has capacity of 100 million/year. Since current airport with 30 million passenger per year capacity is overwhelmed
@andresil8330Ай бұрын
@@amanueltadesse4058 it’s not just about having an airport - it’s a package of things that they can offer including better service.
@amanueltadesse4058Ай бұрын
I agree but it’s tough at this stage to compete Ethiopian airlines, especially being geographically close to it’s hub. I think $2B airport is feasible, hope it will have passengers
@andresil8330Ай бұрын
@@amanueltadesse4058 Yes, true. But they are probably considering a potential increase over time. Although it’s tough to compete with Ethiopian, they definitely have room for it if they are well managed. From everything I’ve heard from Ethiopian and my own experience with them, the service lacks a lot of quality and if they don’t step up, they’ll lose their clients in a snap of a finger if another great competitor gets into the play.

He also conveniently said we should disregard all information and claims to do with oil in Jamaica, then why the heck are they searching fi it den? It’s laughable honest, I listened to him, he didn’t even attempt to clarify the situation and explain that there is a British who’s gathering investment worldwide to commence the search for oil in Jamaica, which would be the truth, last time I check, the British don’t look if there’s nothing to find, so what is really going on
