I had no idea that Phobe Cates and Kevin Kline did this for her store. Since it opened in 2005 this was done literally 9 years after it opened in 2014. Must have been the last time she acted in anything since I thought she retired when she opened her store - this must have been for fun and advertising, right? Edit: Just learned although she retired to raise their children, she actually did two more acting jobs before this final short. After retiring in 1994, Cates has appeared in a movie (as a favor) and lent her voice in a video game. The film “The Anniversary Party” was a production of her good friend Jennifer Jason Leigh, with whom she starred in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”. She lent her voice to play her role as Kate Beringer in the video game Lego Dimensions 2015.

I am from India . I was watching a Hindi explanation video of Fast times at ridgemont High . She was very beautiful in the movie and I had crush on her knowing it was 1982 movie . It was a light hearted good movie. Was curious to know about her then searched about her in youtube came across a video of channel Looper ,where I came to know she left acting and has a botique named blue tree. Don't know why I always feel curious about people who left acting like in case Jack Gleeson who played joefry baratheon in Game of throne . To know what they are doing after leaving acting and whether they are happy in thier life or not

LOL. Love them both. Can't believe I lived in Manhattan for 20+ years and wasn't aware of their shop. Phoebe was my crush when I was her age and I would now go in and buy something in the hope that I'd see her. I relocated my family to Sarasota FL 4 years ago (no regrets; love it here), but can't just Uber over there now. Ugh
