Do you have a video if a beep is heard while trying to reset the blind? It resets, links , jogs slightly but trying to move or reset the limits gives off a beeping sound

wow. Talk about a company that doesn't know how to Internet. Folks, if you only sell through the channel and not direct, put a link inn the comments to the "find a dealer" portion of your website. Every video. Every time. I wonder how many potential sales you've lost (including mine) by not having an online sales option. Bye!

Doesn't work if you have a hard plastic one. Only works if you have a soft one like shown here.

The motors themselves are RF remote control. There is a bridge and app used to connect to Alexa. You’re able to connect to Alexa through the Alexa app.

@@shanebrunell3588 Thanks! This sounds like the proprietary Somfy system that a lot of manufacturers use. Unfortunately, I would rather not spend a lot of money on a proprietary system just to control blinds.

@@babifacedlilthug It is not universal. It doesn't work with other hubs. It doesn't matter. You can control the shades from an app, through a remote control and it is compatible Alexa. You are not going to find anything better. Serena shades are good to. You can control the Serena shades, lights and ceiling fans from anywhere in the world using the Lutron app. The only negative with the Serena shades is that they don't have the top down, bottom up feature.

Like Jim, I am also looking for a z-wave solution for top down, bottom up blinds. Yes, following industry compatible standards like z-wave matters a lot. Who has time to stitch together proprietary solutions when you want whole home automation? We chose the SmartThings ecosystem because it supports the most industry standards, and WebCore allows automation of anything SmartThings can talk to. Also, Z-wave does not make your WiFi worse like other proprietary products. Yes, there may be an app and even Alexa integration, but what if you also want to coordinate with lighting and other home automation? Just look beyond the blinds and you see pretty quickly why propriety systems are a bad idea.
