@@luca_longobardi_ glad you like it, just not for me! I do rather fancy their field recorder though. I mean i have a decent portable recorder but the tp7 you could carry everywhere without it weighing you down. Great for capturing those randomn natural rhythms you bump into when out & about . No offence meant was just enjoying rhyming mice with nice !!! 👍

I have recorded 7 different piano samples on it and then ‘press played’ them one after the other while mangling some of them at the same time. It does’t do live processing as Octatrack does but it does it as Digitakt does.

The workflow was pretty much this: _ sampled my Lyra8 on the Op-1; _ recorded 3 lines with that sample on track 1, 2, 3; -recorded a sequence with a different Op-1 engine on track 4; _ basically, played the 4 tracks as you do on a Tascam Porta and built the structure using the Bigsky (dual verb Magneto into Cloud) Filter, Ensemble and wet/dry parameters.

Many thanks! So can the S4 apply synthesis/fx to incoming audio which can then be modulated live while playing or must audio be recorded and played back order to access the fx and granular synthesis?

Both! You can play live through the Tape machine having the Monitor function on and process what you are playing or record it live or loading what you recorded in advance :)
