Grass deterioration is the most personalized feature in the entire franchise. I love seeing where people have walked the most in their towns. it’s too bad the franchise is more and more about the artistic choices like in New Horizon or New Leaf. it used to be about organic, personalized touches, it’s more fun when things can be inevitable and undesirable over weird things like pathing.

fav clothing is a brown hoodie i bleach dyed. it looks kinda moldy and strange now (from the colors) and i love it. it also smells like bleach n gain detergent which makes me feel comforted, like my blankie as a kid has been freshly washed by mom. i’ll mend that hoodie til it can’t be mended any longer.

Yep, you can still visit each other if you do locally! I have 2 3DSs and 2 different saves of New Leaf. I visit the "secondary town" a lot. I only say this because lots of people cut through here but if you are ever in Chicago feel free to hit me up for some local play <3

One thing I noticed: The studio that made this game is from Berlin, so I wonder if the plot being about smuggling salami between the East and West is related to/inspire by the divide between East and West Berlin.

Its so funny you bring up the ride breaking down on you but the animatronics kept moving! That happened to me when i went to disney for my 21st birthday, except it was on the haunted mansion! Its my favorite ride and it was decorated with the nightmare before Christmas decorations. We were in the graveyard room for over an hour and i LOVED IT because i really got to see how the graveyard all works.
