11 tanks? Awesome! I’m new to the fish hobby and just got my first aquarium, I have 6 guppies and 3 green Cory catfish so far.

Beautiful Butti, he'll eventually kill all those fish in 6 to 7 months, I have one I got when it was about an 1 inch, and he has turned into a beast. It killed, 2 of my Osscars, a yellow lab, a bumblebee cichlid, and a firemouth cichlid... the thing with Buttis is they usually wont eat feeder fish like guppies or tiny gold fish, but theyll go after fish that are big enough to possibly challenge them or may want to dominate in the tank.

love the tank, but i think you have over stocked your tank. 1-2 is decenty for a 5 gallon . Any thing above and your fish are going to stress

Where do you get the plants from? Also they need live plants right? I am planning to get a 10 gallon with probably 1 or 2 pea puffer. Is a moss ball fine or do they need plants?

Nobody in the commets know what the hell they're talking about. I go to plenty of pet store and see these guys in 10 gallon tanks with 20 or more in it. With no plants and really no hiding spots usually just a big rock right in the middle of the tank and i've never seen them fighting so if you do decide to get any pea puffers, make sure you get all of them from one place and the same tank. You will not have any problems. If anything you will have to upgrade your take because of them having babies.

Ended up getting a common pleco when I was trying to get a clown pleco for my 10 gallon. I ended up loving the common pleco and plecos in general, so I decided to keep him and get him into a bigger tank once I get it and get it cycled.

The rocks are just taking up unnecessary space. Would be good if you can get a tunnel or something, somewhere where the fish can hide and explore inside of.

Great vid bro. Appreciate the advice. I really didn't want to give up a 55 gallon for just a breeding pair.
@angelsalas47393 жыл бұрын
Females get darker when breeding. The dark one is female. Rounder fins on females. They were ready to breed and luck nothing else. Males are usually bigger

it looks nice, but i think you have to many in that tank, you need more bigger plants or rocks to create more hiding places, or they will start fighting

For real! This music is just awful. Had to mute the shit. & a JD cichlid?! Their probably the more timid pair in my tank. My white parrots don’t leave em alone. I’d say convicts absolutely are obnoxious, can’t even give those fuckers away! & it’s yet to be seen w my RD. says their ok during juvenile grow out stages. Flowerhorn is a definite pain in the ass. Anything that requires a tank of its own is just a pain in the ass & a waste of resources.

Tough list to complete bro , I worked at a LFS that I had shipped at since the early 80s. I can vouch for experience with maybe 85% of the fish on your list. Some CRAZY story's with many on your list , GREAT JOB! Love the video, brings back memories of when S. Cichlids were more available but I get why, I steered people towards smart fish choices as much as I could but had some large fish with tanks dumped at the shop many times too. Thx for doing the video my friend
