Trying to figure out a good choice for Malcolm Young tones but also going into harder stuff. Saw a vid of classics vs. the Plus and actually preferred the regular classics. Better balance. Mids too strong on the Plus. They’d be replacing blacktops in a Chinese Gretsch 5622T. Wondering about the Setzers as a middle ground. Rock out but keep the jangle and twang when you want it.

Setzer sig pickups are great. I gig with them and they stand out a lot better than Classics I've used, which are very nice too. The Setzers are not so much hotter, but more clearer and bigger sounding.

just got the amped 2. love the sound hate the volume. im noticing you are using the balanced out as well as a cab here? are you going to the pa board as well in this demo? thanks in advance sounds wonderful

I got this 2 kinds of pick ups on my guitars I prefer the Signature one... but if play both depends on the amp being used & set up I love them both

You're a legend for this Jurgen thank you! I'm definitely not the only one who wants to hear the difference. Sounds like the setzers handle disortion really well and yet still have a nice clean sound. I like both pick ups. not sure which i like more but I do like the screaming nature of the setzers. they both have great twang and jangle. Also, not sure if my eyes are tricking me but as that a BLUE bassbreaker? that amp looks really good.
