Yes, happy to find other iPad people out there! Thanks for this overview, Piano Motifs is really good. The stuff with Fugue Machine is really nice. How do you like the latest AUM update?
@BeatBoyNinja28 күн бұрын
AUM is amazing no doubt! Full of great features and always evolves. Most convenient mixer and recorder on the platform. I always use it for most of my sessions. Thanks for your feedback 🫶

Routing Explanation please?
@BeatBoyNinja29 күн бұрын
Osmose, Cobalt, and Euro rack are connected to my iPad through a USB extension. I have three different midi sequences in the Cubasis app on iPad that send midi signals to those synths. Audio outs from synths go to the mixer/audio interface and record audio to different audio tracks in the Cubasis app. On those thacks, I have different effects like reverb and EQ. So, it is basically the same system that you can create on a PC or Mac but on an iPad

@@BeatBoyNinja Awesome. I just got the iconnect 4C Soundcard so trying to work out routing. I was thinking of getting the latest Cubasis app thats on offer to help like this set up you have so thank you !!!
@BeatBoyNinja29 күн бұрын
@@seoverus7805 4-channel is great! Cubasis takes some time to get used to, but it provides all the basic options for that classic type of recording. Nice choice!

Recently tried a Wotja app, the UI is very complex, but generative algorithms are so powerful just wow. Also, I'll make a synth apps video next month, so stay with me, friend 🫶

@@BeatBoyNinja - We are TWINS = same as I also bought it, but cant figure midi out properly on the (old) interface. Wotja is very deep but not a lot of users doing vids in 24 out there so I will be following you and recommending you closely to others in this wonderful sonic adventure !

I have all those apps and enjoy using them regularly.Thanks for the inspirational video. I would like to give a mention here to Wotja by Intermorphic, primarily for those who like to produce ambient music. It is more expensive than most apps, but still represents high value for money. Mac version and iOS are included in one purchase. Windows and Android users can use Wotja too. My apologies for trying to make this a 6 best review.

Hey man this is wicked stuff! :-) Can you explain the signalchain of the Osmose? Do you run it into a Soma Cosmos? Are there any other FX? Sounds great!
@BeatBoyNinja3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Here are the three audio tracks and two mixers (one on the modular system and one is external). Audio from Osmose goes straight to external mixer and then to the iPad where I have some mobile reverb apps. Also I have a midi out from Osmose to Cobalt 8m and from Cobalt 8m to the Oxi Coral Module (both with the MPE). Audio from Oxi Coral and Cobalt synths go to the modular mixer with some pan and then to the Meris Polymoon first (for some delay) and from Meris to the Soma Cosmos where it’s recording and layering step by step. Before drumming I turn a mixing knob on the Soma more and it starts more loud looping and layering. Audio from drums also goes to the modular mixer with the same path. So in the end I back to the Osmose, play some notes and turning knobs off.
