Kamil Rustam is an French/American guitarist, composer, arranger, songwriter and producer whose musical career has made known as a prolific musician in many different styles.
Rustam was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and moved at an early age to Paris, France where he worked extensively for most of the top pop French artists, like Michel Berger, Serge Gainsbourg, Jean-Jacques Goldman, etc…) earning the 1985 “Les Victoires De La Musique” for Producer of the Year with his fellow producing partners Manu Katché and Oscar winning film composer Gabriel Yared. Kamil was also nominated as Best Studio Musician at the 1986 and 1987 “Les Victoires De La Musique”. He then moved to Los Angeles, California in 1996, where he has been busy Collaborating on various projects with Artists like :
Vince Gill, Cher, Enrique Iglesias, Tony Braxton, Josh Groban, Barbara Streisand, David Foster, Youssou N'Dour, Kelly Clarkson, Bruce Willis, Snoop Dogg, Anastacia, Chrissie Hynde, Sinead O'Connor, etc..

Comment ne pas aimer? Par moment ca me fait penser a cet album de Yes ( tales from the ocean , ou qque chose comme ca ) , peut être une même source d'inspiration , mais là, avec beaucoup plus de groove , tout en étant tranquille. De la musique quoi !

Magnifique : que de chemin parcouru depuis que je vous ai découvert sur l'album live de Michel Jonasz de la tournée univers l'uni ! C'est juste splendide ! et bien sûr l'inégalable Manu Katché ! Merci pour ce très bon moment musical !

Sympa, la Strat. On dirait un montage hybride. Le corps en VIntage White d'une 68 ou d'une Malmsteen, avec un manche en érable. Le pickguard ne semble pas coller non plus avec le corps. Mais super son !
