​@rehabmusic 3 sixteens is 3 verses (a verse is 16 bars, see the underground kings [UGK] song "three sixteens"). Microwave generation is basically the "Internet age", where everyone does everything the easy way. The KZbin generation, so to speak. You never see a song with 3 verses anymore. Look at any new songs from your favorite artists & i can guarantee the vast majority of anything released recently will only have 2 verses.

​@rehabmusic yeah, I'm sure I'm in the minority, but i love more bars. Danny Boone & Tom MacDonald are probably the only people i like hooks from. I'm from Texas, & it was full of local Houston rappers, around 20 of them with no hooks, just continual bar after bar. I like cyphers because they lack hooks, but artists don't always have their best lyrics on songs with features, especially if it's someone who needs more than 1 verse to make a point, or usually tells a story in the music. I understand it's not for everyone, but these days, i will be bumping new music, just starting to get into a song, & it's all of a sudden over 😂. So, i was very happy to get new music with 3 verses again!!
