She really was a genius- one of a kind and totally underestimated and overlooked. Her ability to bring such raw pathos into such a male dominated and quickly oversaturated genre/scene is incredibly admirable. If only people would actually listen to her.

Pretty on the inside is a ridiculously good album that has aged so well. So is live through this, i dont know why did she stopped making music like that. Its a shame her life drama is more popular yjan her music, because she is so good.

To get up and stay on her feet after Kurt died is more amazing than the rest of us will ever know. His death was more painful than we will know. She continued. Death and grieving has phases ans levels. Sometimes all the feelings rush in the first day. Sometimes these emotions come to you over time. The phases are real. Ive been there. Anger was a big one. I lost someone to suicide.

Kristen Pfaff was an otherworldly talent as it pertained to the bass 🎸She elevated their musicianship in ways not seen on any Hole material before or after gracing that band with her presence and talents. I feel so sorry that this was such a difficult period for Kristen and culminated to her tragic demise. 😢
