Oh nice, I picked this up around about when it first went into EA. Never played Backpack Hero before (until today actually as I finally decided to pick it up lol), but the premise was enough to entice me anyway. And while I do think it lacks a fair amount of replay value right now, it actually feels pretty well executed and was definitely good fun for the first 4 or so hours I put into it. Really looking forward to seeing what they do with this. It's still very early days and it definitely has the potential to be something quite amazing!

Can I just say how annoying it is that this is comparable, and really only slightly better than fleeting brands, if, IF! your gear is up to snuff? I spent 2 effing years fishing for fleeting brands, this should just... be better by virtue of the fact that it's NEW CONTENT. Instead I'm still on the moon farming brands like 5 months into DT. It's utterly asinine. The gars are only worth it if you can consistently get in the top tier collect, and that's still not 100% guaranteed with full melds and the new left side i720 gear. Have to dump angler's art into big-game fishing for that.

Man, what a stressful (and frustrating, it looked/sounded) game... you sure had some crazy slick Thresh plays, though!

Honestly after few failed games of Senna, I went for Ash instead. It feels nicer, since you can give vision on jungle, and since most of my games I have Noc jungle and Hwei bot.

That blast cone over the Gragas E at 17:44 was one of the coolest-looking plays I've ever seen, TBH.

One of my best friends paid for a Neace coaching session for me, mostly as a fun gimmick, to see me on stream and to see what the live chat had to say. He thought it would be funny. For context, I am a tennis coach of 18 years. I understand exactly what it takes to be a quality coach in any regard. The basics of coaching being: making a quality connection with your student, recognizing their strengths and weaknesses, highlighting both when appropriate and relevant, being encouraging and positive with their progress, and most importantly, ensuring that they feel capable of improvement. Within the first few minutes of being on call with Neace, he became frustrated and short tempered because he claimed that I was "trying to get ahead of his instructions." Granted I was nervous, so my mouse movement might have been a bit jumpy, but I never argued, and I intently listened to every instruction he gave. Finally I got into game, playing Akshan mid, and that's when I realized this was less of a coaching session, and more of a roasting session for his viewers to enjoy. At one point, he called me "granny hands" because I wasn't attack moving fast enough for his liking. If you're familiar with Akshan, you know that his auto's are strange when it comes to attack moving, because if you click move command after your first auto Akshan will cancel his secondary auto, dealing less damage but gaining ms. He didn't clarify that he wanted me to cancel the secondary auto in this particular skirmish (I was going for the passive shield with a double auto). He then proceeded to mentally check out, constantly checking chat and going silent for long periods of time, where I was left to make decisions on my own, which would suddenly get ridiculed by Neace, saying "why are we here?", or the worst of it, "you have zero thought process to your macro." Well, NEACE, that's why you're here, or so I thought. He is one of the worst coaches I have encountered in any realm of competitive sport/game. No respect for clients who have paid top dollar for his time and expertise, lack of presence, easily distracted by chat, little to know constructive criticism, and non existent encouragement. His coaching is truly not even worth 5 bucks.
