So the hot water coming out engine is the outlet that is actually the lower connection of the heater core i would call the inlet because the hot water goes in. Than the upper heater core connection that goes to the water pump. Outlet of heater core and the input return on the engine. I think i got it.

I have a question in regards to my 1977.. both hoses were ripped out. Question is, are these hoses connected directly to the intake/heater core or are they adapted to another hose? Thank you!

There are no rustfree survivor Mustangs. The only rustfree is the one that got dipped and restored; they just welded bare metal to bare metal and spraypainted where they could, nothing more. The filler panel between the trunklid and rear glass is usually bare metal and rusted underneath, same as the quaters next to the trunk opening from underneath. Inner roofstructure and a pillars aswell alle the way down to the rocker. Watch these spots if you can before you buy!

Thank you, I just subscribed based on this video. Very easy to understand...made me jump up, grab the long Snap-on screwdriver (straight, not phillips) and start adjusting. Within 1 minute, I took the idle RPMs down from 780 to around 600, which is normal. It's funny, I rebuilt the carb but forgot to tune the mixture!

you can start in low, shift up to green for second, bring it down to low to lock in second and just shift back up to green dot for third 🙂

This video would be more helpful if he showed what tools he used to cut the damaged panel out. Zip disc? Air saw? Drill a hole and use a saber saw? Plasma torch?

What are your thoughts on putting another layer of undermat insulation down if the new carpet already comes with insulation? Will the increased padding hurt the fitment of the new carpet?

I suppose if you've installed the newer carpet that goes higher up on the firewall, you could always trim and fold it to make an end seam right? That is if you want it to look correct, but does not look good". Or, is this nylon carpet to thick to fold and create an end seam?

My 1978 Monte Carlo with a 350 Chevy crate engine has never run better. It settled right down and idles great. I thought the hot cam was the idle problem but turns out that the needle valves were no where near the same dial in. Great video. Easy to follow language. AND IT WORKED!!!!! Thanks so much for your time to put that on line.
