Wtf how does a real engine and a real turbo sounds fake?????

@@kailon_br7841 I have never heard a turbo sound like that on a semi or a pickup. Sounds very rough and more like a toy. Could be failing bearings, because it sounds like the VGT has been tuned to be more aggressive. Good and quick way to fail a turbo. But still sounds like a toy.

No, it's not fake. Just a good running C-15 6NZ Cat with a PDI stage one tune. The last time it was on the rollers it had nearly 800 (flywheel) hp. I did not take this video, a buddy riding with me did. I have owned this truck for several years. It's a 2002 379 EXHD with a 63 in. Flattop. 7 in miter cut straights, with a small muffler underneath the cab. It's a good running, working truck. Nothing fake about it. Come to Southern Pa, I'll give you a ride. Then you can hear it run for yourself. Big block Cats never had VGT turbos. Newer Cummins and Detroit's had them, but Cat ran a compound turbo system on the newer big block Cats. This one is still a factory single turbo setup. Compund turbo setups were introduced with the C15 Acert in '05.

@@mail_liw no they don’t. And I was wrong the day cab peterbilts at my job don’t have them and the Volvo does.

@@TrukNLife316 So uh I'm not exactly sure why or when I made that comment but I know not all trucks have turbo gauges or at least I should since I work on them all day long. I was quite possibly being retarded or something along those lines.

@@jonkreiser7757 We used the 4240 for just about everything from mowing hay, pulling a new holland 900 chopper, plowing and discing. We bought a 4640 to give the 4240 a break. Now the 4240 is just used to run a feed mixer and manure pump
