Why should anyone care what that book says ? Is there a reason at all? Cheers

Hi. Thanks for your comment. Maybe this link will be useful, setting out reasons why it is a good idea to learn from the Bible (www.gotquestions.org/why-read-Bible.html). I don't know your situation, but I would encourage you to try it for yourself. This link will take you to Luke's gospel, a good place to start (www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%201&version=NIV). Thanks again. Matthew

It seems to be the exact opposite, and you are doing it yourself right there. You say without your deity it reduces people to mere animal existence, and that is how you dehumanise people who do not share your views. thus about 2 minutes in and you already have shown how bad religious thinking is.

My apologies I neglected to reply. Would a doctor, using her knowledge of medicine, telling a patient they have a serious illness, even though the patient disagrees on account of "feeling fine", be dehumanising? I think you are implying that I am bad with God but to fail to speak would be like the doctor failing to be truthful with her patient about their condition, paving the way (hopefully) for treatment. In telling readers of the love of God, the Bible does not shy away from confronting with uncomfortable truths, urging us on to find soul-healing through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Best wishes
