Hey Nath, happy new year, the one I’ve been using a lot lately in the river and a bit at the dam, is a 7ft 30/60lbs

I did order the 6ft 15/30 i liked the feel of it, to try in the river but wilsons said they would send another one similar with a bit more tip in it, its not here yet so im not sure what it is

@@outbackpredatorfishing yeah I gave mine a go out the creek yesterday, i think mine is actually 20-30lb. very similar to my Venom and half the price. Quality sticks 👌🏽

@@Canipeks Doesn't make any taste difference if you clean them before or after, not 100% sure on Victoria's regulations but i don't think there is a size limit on yabbies (blue) and i think your allowed 150, down there, but check before you head out. Murray crays are a different story, they have their own set of rules

@@outbackpredatorfishing just tried yabbies for the first time and I have to say as a prawn lover, couldn't really tell the difference though would like to try it fresh out of the water as soon as possible, with summer around the corner can't wait to go catch some do you recommend anywhere that you know in Melbourne. 🍻 Many Regards

looking for a decent depth and flat bottom, throwing of the edge you dont know what sort of bottom your on or wether its sitting flat or on a log, and you need a bit of depth so the water isnt to hot

Hi Brenton, it doesn't seem to faze them, we have done it for many years, just walk up steady and quiet and reach out. we have tried a wire hook on a broom stick to grab the floats when i was younger, but it has never really made a noticeable difference.

Cheers David, they don't seem to move around much, we find moving the traps after every couple of pulls, always seem to get better results.

Hi Paul, over near Collie on Wonbobbie Rd on the Marthugay is a good close spot takes about an hour though, this video was on the Bogan river at Dandaloo near Albert, just over an hour away
