@@thewhitekid2177 yo man! In my opinion, its not a noticeable difference between 15 and 20. If you didnt already have the windshield tinted, id say go for the 20, but its not worth removing the 15 to get 20. The EXCEPTION to that is if you’re gonna go higher quality film, like nano-ceramic or whatever the newest tier of film is. The higher tier films usually have better clarity, even at the same percents

@@KyleClimacothanks man, I appreciate the detailed reply. Nobody on youtube has compared a 15% windshield to a 20% windshield before. There are videos of each, but there is no side by side comparison. So I definitely appreciate the input, because like you said there doesnt seem to be a noticeable difference, and thats what I was seeing when watching multiple videos, but you never know what factors contribute into each video. I personally love 15% on the windsheild, the only reason I ask about 20% is so I could keep it looking blacked out on the outside but possibly give me a little bit more downrange visibility when it gets dark out, but I can totally live with how dark it is. For the me the benefits out weigh the cons, because the only other way to go would be doing a 35% windshield. I currently have 5% all the way around, have you ever done 5% all around with 35% on the windsheild? Did that still give you a blacked out windsheild? Or were you still able to see in? (My guess is you can still see in the windsheild during day)

Yo! I sold my 2018 VA WRX 2 years ago - and I can tell you, I still miss that car! It had 45k-ish miles, and had stock engine and transmission. It was a GREAT car if you aren’t interested in messing with the motor. It looked good (subjective of course), sounded good with just a muffler delete, and you had SO MANY options to really make it your own, from headlights, to wheels/tires, to suspension, to body kits, you name it. That being said - I do know the new owner of my VA WRX, and she recently started having some transmission problems; some just from the age of the clutch, and some from wear and tear. Subaru, as a company was very good to me when it came to maintenance and warranty work, BUT I don’t know how they are when the car is out of warranty. In my opinion - if you’ve always wanted a WRX, want a good platform for basic modification, and a GREAT community behind it, then by all means, get the WRX! (With an independent inspection, and maybe a warranty if possible). There are a whole host of common issues to look out for, but that comes with really ANY car - especially ones whose core audience is made up of enthusiasts. Pros: tons of aftermarket support and parts, great community, well known platform with a lot of knowledgeable shops and people to help out, great AWD for daily driving. Cons: Subaru motors are hit or miss (you can push 500 hp stock and be fine, but then have a buddy hit 350 and blow his motor), repairs can be costly if done out of warranty (find a good shop, buy Ince, cry once!)

@KyleClimaco 'preciate it man, it's good to hear from you! Yeah I am considering modifying it, but not heavily as it will be a potential daily driver. I would want to do a conservative tune, 300 hp to the wheels, however that may be whether it's fueling tune, supporting mods, or the like. My only concern is, it is a 2019 so any factory warranty might be out the door. Which then leave sme to question how I'd get a warranty, whether it's from the dealership I found it from or a 3rd party. I've noticed that the VA WRX's are more fragile than the new VB WRX's. The VBs can handle 350 - 400 whp with just a fueling tune and some bolt ons or so, but I'm not in a position to finance right now. You mentioned some good points and I'll keep that in mind. Hope all is well and looking forward to what you do next with the Camaro!

white interior reflects the most light during the day, but the 15 around and 35 on windshield will definitely darken it. 35 on the windshield will let enough light to see in on really sunny days though. That being said, 15/20 all around with 35 on the windshield is right at the border of "tough to drive at night" in my opinion. if you go any darker on the windshield, it will start to get dicey in some driving conditions

@@dannythebambino 15% and %5 will be visibly different in some lights. Cloudy days and night, it will all look "blacked out". I would keep it uniform just so it looks good in all lighting - hope this helps!

I liked the rain guards for a couple of reasons - first, they would let me have my windows a bit cracked to let the breeze in, but the windows still looked closed with tint. This was awesome for napping or eating in the car while it was off. Second, i dont think they look half bad!

it only gets difficult to see our of at night - and at that point I'll roll my windows down for things like parking. If you don't want to go that dark, I would recommend going 20% on the sides with aAT LEAST 35% on the windshield if you want the blacked out look

@@KyleClimaco When you tint your rear 5% does it make it difficult to see at night through it since it’s also at an angle? With 20% all around and 35% on the windshield kind of still give that visible look in broad daylight no?

With anything 20% or lower all around, 50% on the windshield makes it almost blacked out from most angles, certainly not nearly all though. 15 all around and 35 windshield looks 95% blacked out from almost every angle and situation. To black it out you need 5-12% all around and 40% or less on the windshield
