Nice work, I do body mounts in body before paint so as to line up body on chassis better

I use magnetic body mounts on my drift car bodies so you can do the alignment after everything is done. And you won’t have to worry about body clips and most of all no body post sticking out the body.

I use Iwata airbrushes. Airbrushing is the best way to get the best results.

It’s a polycarbonate rc body. We paint it from the inside and it has a protective film on the outside that we peel after painting and have that nice glossy finish.

How…? How do you do a body PERFECTLY? Lol. I messed up mine so bad. I don’t know why, but when I painted a white backing coat, the backing coat went over the main color. I did everything right, but now I have a metallic blue onevia with random white streaks (where the paint bled through).

In every layer of paint I always put the body up on a light source to check if I have an even coverage of paint all over the body. That way you can tell where you need to add more layers.

Excellent build and paint scheme. If you haven’t tried it already, may I suggest having a try at using Tamiya PS53 (flake) as the initial layer and then what ever colours you want…it gives the ‘sparkle’ effect and really pops the colours when the light hits it. I’ve used it on a few of my shells (Carrera GT, F40) and have had some great compliments. P.s I don’t drift, but race 1/10 Tamiyas on an out door asphalt track. You’ve inspired me to get an S15 shell no hahaha great job my RC brother 😎👏👏👏
