Honestly just sounds like a skill issue. You might have grown accustomed to how modern games just hold your hand for everything. I beat this game for the first time when I was 11 in the early 2000s, and my biggest difficulty with it was that I had to beat it in one sitting because I couldn't save the game and pick up where I left off since I was playing on a snes9x emulator burned onto a read-only CD and I didn't know that I could save the game onto my desktop then boot up the save later. So in other words the difficulty came from me not knowing enough about computers to be able to play the game over multiple days, not the game itself. Still, I'm glad you had fun for the parts that you did!

Not taking anything away from the a1Pinner 3.9 at all that works great as well, but if you just want the Starwars, Marvel, and Mars attacks with a simple menu no Zen pin ball or pinball arcade, this is nice an slick you get prompted with just the 3 tables and a test on the screen right after boot, then select the one you want to go into!

Hi.. im planning to buy one but at home i can play rebirth without issue using remoteplay app for my phone then i tried uncharted which isnt online but its so hard when moving the camera.. its like slowmo even with the sensitivity is changed.. is portal really not good when it comes to shooting games.. not online or multiplayer but just shooting genre in particular?
@nastybedazzler2 ай бұрын
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it probably all depends on your internet connection. I've played through a few games on it now like the newest Shantae and the Seven Sirens and the new Astrobot which can have some pretty intense levels that require crazy precision and I notice absolutely zero lag. And I did the Game Sack test where I would sit there and push a button repeatedly every second or so to see how long it takes for the game to actually respond and I notice nothing at all. But I'm at home on my home network. I remember trying to play Elden Ring with Remote Play on my PC in my bedroom, which is obviously in a different room than my PS5, like a year or two ago when it first came out and the lag was absolutely horrid and it made the game unplayable, I never tried that again so either the Portal is much better about it or Remote Play has just been vastly improved since I've last tried doing it NOT on a Portal. But hey, a simple answer to your question- I legit notice no lag but I have great internet. If you don't I don't know how it'll perform.
@muriel24mj872 ай бұрын
@@nastybedazzler hi, just an update. i tried putting my ps5 wired and there wasnt any lag now.. so im thinking of buying one soon.. but i just wanna ask again.. do you play souls games now? how it is for you? i dont have a souls game on my ps5 but i have on my switch and i love it.. how it is on your portal? i wanna play it on tv but i always tired whenever i get home lol so handheld gaming is what i do now.. maybe im getting old lol thanks btw

I have my router hooked up to ethernet and I stayed somewhere 100 miles away from my house and had zero issues whatsoever with absolutely no lag. A lot of people complain about this thing, but if you know what you’re buying, it’s all good. I asked myself. If I had a switch, what I play it outside or at a bookstore or coffee shop? No. So none of that matters to me at all.
@nastybedazzler2 ай бұрын
I agree with you. After all the shit got sorted out and the PSN went back online, I've been using this thing nonstop since I got it. I've beaten Shantae and the Seven Sirens playing it exclusively on the device and I'm at the end of Astro Bot, playing the last half of the game using this and experiencing zero issues with lag or anything of the like. As you can tell by the video I was super turned off by this thing when I first got it, but once it connected and did its thing, It's a great product. You mentioned the Switch... thats essentially what this device is. It turns your PS5 into a Switch. Anyone reading this, if that sounds like something you'd like, consider giving this a shot.

@nastybedazzler2 ай бұрын
I wonder why things like this pop up. Obviously I had issues with it, but once it connected and worked as it should I'm almost positive I can't notice any input lag whatsoever. I've even tested it, playing Shantae which is a 2D platformer, I would push the jump button repeatedly and try to notice how long it took for her to respond to the input. I can't tell a single difference between playing on the Portal or on my PS5, but that's the nature of streaming. No matter what anyone does, there is going to be problems. And like I said at the start of this post and in my video, I know I had fucking problems with this thing lol. But now that it connected I am having zero issues with it.

What If your PS5 dies? will it be a brick then because it is linked to that PS5? And yeah if Playstation network ever goes down and it won't work that sucks whale shlong.... At least with Switch, you can keep games on it or mod it if Nintendo ever stops supporting it... I hope this thing works out for you if you keep it because the general idea here is a good one but the details of how it connects are kind of scary. Great video as always!!!!

You can connect to your other ps5
@nastybedazzler2 ай бұрын
Thomas- It will link to whatever PS5 you want it to link to but it is at the mercy of that PS5 and it can only do what that PS5 can do. It can only play whatever games that PS5 can play. If you are playing a game on a disc, that disc better be in the PS5. It's limited but it's exactly what I wanted and that's why I bought it. Essentially the Portal turns the PS5 into a WII U. A lot of people compare it to the Switch but honestly it's more like the WII U, it's probably better to just keep it at the house. So far though, even though I show a lot of doubts in the video, after playing with it for a week I've really grown to like it. When it finally works, it works REALLY great. I've not had a single problem with it since I got it to connect to my PS5. And lag is a thing I don't think I've noticed whatsoever.

I think there's a lot of naysayers out there and I think their opinions are valid, but theres a lot of great things to be said about this if you use it in the right conditions.

So just done a quick bit of research on this and it looks as though we (UK) didn't get a physical release of Evo on console only on PC (Might be available digitally on XBOX or PS store, I don't know) The game we did get is Trials HD which by all accounts is a scaled back version of Evo. Not played either of these yet but am waiting for a copy of HD to be delivered as I type. Have played the other trials games though, Fusion and Rising. Is it controversial that I much preferred Fusion to Rising??

I would have remained silent but to use the basis of modern gaming to review retro you cannot do that you will just look well have you watched and listened to your post???

I was lucky enough to purchase this game back in the day (I’m Australian) after multiple completes of illusion of time. No hate man but the level of repeated advice and sarcasm was jarring. I adore this game and also have my gripes with it but Jesus, you compare every experience in this game to how people play games now. It felt like you wanted to hate it for sake of “being on brand” with this personality you’ve created.
@nastybedazzler5 ай бұрын
I didn't hate it I liked it almost entirely up until the very end and I felt like I was clear about that. And since I didn't have this game growing up I don't have the same nostalgia for it as some people do but like the later half, like the sneak missions and bloody Mary and her random minions you need to attack and randomly succeed, things like that are irritating no matter when you play games. It would've irritated me then and it irritated me now but for the most part this review was positive. I kinda had a feeling this review was gonna step on some toes but don't get it wrong I didn't hate this game, but some of the choices the devs made towards the end were whacky.

Irate Coomer reviews old games. with questionable levels of research quintet developed it enix only published it. Enix bought square not the other way around . Chrono Trigger only arrived in eu 2009 via DS port and I assume the article is comparing the snes releases. Walkthroughs are last resort IMHO and I did only get stuck for like fiften minutes a few times but figured it out on my own . Like I've adapted to cryptic stuff so my threshold may be higher than the average player . people just can't dedicate time to f around and stumble across the solution anymore apparently. Sad but stressing to get through a game is common these days. I dunno why I bothered writing this as this review is wacky, but I guess its an different perspective which can be useful somehow . I give you an B for effort as you covered a decent amount of the game and do give some positive points to balance the negative.
@nastybedazzler5 ай бұрын
You're right about a lot of things. When I was doing my research I saw that square and enix merged together and I read that square then made up like 90% of the staff and so I just said square bought Enix. And I disagree with you a little bit on the gameplay, I fumbled my way through a lot of RPGs in the past... I grew up in the 80s and 90s I get it, but even still this game was cryptic as hell. I know we've gotten spoiled as we get older but this game had so many crazy obscure things to do in it, it really takes the cake in my opinion. And I honestly had no idea Europe didn't get Chrono trigger until 2009. That's was just my fuck up completely. I'm glad you took the time to write this I was positive Europe got it the same time the US did and that's my bad. I'll correct this in the description as well as some of the other info you brought up.

Once you do that though there's no turning back!! You will NOT want to play ANY of the other characters once you get used to Sayuri.
