What do you mean by loading your front foot

I’ve heard you talk about dropping your hips in quite a few videos and I don’t understand what you mean. Can you explain more? Is it actually about softening your knees to absorb the impact of landing an air? Can you show that more specifically in a video -maybe show what the opposite would look like or what it looks like on land or in slo-mo?

Thanks for the information! I have been working on my 360 but feel like its all wrong. When I watch your video it seems so controlled. I like your comment about riding switch and will practice that. But any tips on how to stop my rotation. When I attempt the 360 I come around look at the back of the boat and continue for another 90 degrees (so my back is to the back of the boat) and then I end up diving thru the back of the wake.

Imagine the shoreline erosion. Gonna need large break water rocks installed around the whole lake and all boats will have to be on lifts or pay for property damages. Just saying.

They're really inconsiderate of other people. The river I'm has miles of unoccupied stretches but they choose to go where people have docks and they don't even maintain their required 200' buffer the river is 300' wide yet they go past my dock at 75' were not rich snobs either we built our docks and drag them out of the water every year. So it's infuriating to see them go by and watch everything get banged around and damaged.
@backcountyrpilot2 ай бұрын
@@garyj6223Have the county install bouys (sp) 150’ from the shore. I have a surf boat and common sense, but not everyone does. After installation my dock went from 4 or 5 close passes per day to just about zero.

Say what you want about the drivers. Surfing in high traffic areas is the same level of gross to me as littering. However, NUMEROUS studies show that shore line erosion past 200ft is little if not negligible.

A little added bonus? Everything else besides is theittle bonus , right . Your pretty good dude. I like the nose plow in the wake. Do you Go backside much. When you going to come out to the ocean and surf the real waves. You'll be hooked.

I would like to bring our boat down from Willamette valley of Oregon but there are so many stories of loosing props and fins, etc. , maybe a gps program would keep this from happening - would be longer of a season if no event happens though, the beauty would be sweet :)

Thanks for this video! When I ollie, I pick up almost too much speed. Is there a way to take advantage of this or avoid this? Also, can you do a video on boards? Lastly, what fin configuration should I be learning 360's on? Thanks again
@DylanAyala3 ай бұрын
Try to just slow everything down. The fin configuration doesn’t matter as much as form does. I ride twin fin!

your video is great. I'm getting frustrated with how hard it is to find the sweet spot in the wave. After a summer of surfing, I can usually drop the rope but I can't move much or I lose the sweet spot. I have what appears to be a fairly large wave. I'm at the top end of the weight limit of a phase 5 phantom 53. Is it possible that the board is just too small? The wave has a ton of push, it'll push me right into the back of the boat no problem. Any thoughts? I'm 6' tall, 180.

Do you inch your toes closer to the toe side rail that might help.

@@NandiBoys thanks for the reply. I was doing that but I finally figure out my issue. Get low, really low. I don't have to worry about where my feet are on the board as much if I stay low.
