Hey there, I see that traxxas has some nice colored bell cranks, however, i also see other vendor selling the same and have adjustable ones, what's the different if i upgrade to an adjustable one, what does it adjust? Thanks!

To take out the stock battery hold down, do you just pull the back of it out after pulling out the pin? I just got a new slash and it feels like it is going to break if I pull it

Am I the only one that has an issue with the driveshafts rubbing on the bottom a-arm?

I got Integy front and rear driveshafts for my slash 4x4, is it normal for it to have some play?

A little pay is normal. Integy is one of the cheaper aftermarket brands so performance and quality may be a little lower than say Traxxas upgrade parts

Wow after weeks of trying to find problem watched video and saw i was missing pin between gear . As you stated can snap due to over tightening. I guess that happened to me thanks for the video! Ive been confused for weeks! Thanks again cheers 🍻

What do you do so your diffs don’t explode I have a brushless one and explode diffs every time I take it out even with the upgrade spiral ones and hardend steel and smaller tires

I’m still using the stock brushed motor on 4s and fine that prevents me from breaking most things.

It’s meant to be a brushed truck. No need to go brushless. Wish I still had mine but it is hard to work on

Where was this 6 years ago when i needed it😂😂😂😂 Oh wait.. right here, duh! Thanks for the idea man i just rebuilt an old revo 3.3 and with 2 trx servos the saver is waaay too soft haha. I have a billion of these washers so its a free mod for me😏

Have you had any problems with those a arms bending or breaking? Been eyeing the FLM extended arms for my rustler, mainly because they make the rear ones as well. Idk if you still get on here I see it’s an old vid. But I figure you’ve had some run time in by now 😂

I’ve had the RPM a arms break before but they’re so cheap and easy to replace at that I don’t mind. I personally don’t use aluminum arms just because if they do go to bend or break they are more expensive, but they usually end up damaging whatever part they’re connected to as well because they are metal. FLM does make good parts though.

can you screw the fan directly in the slots of the heatsink or is there predrilles holes / bracket to it

They screw directly into the heatsink fins, no pre drilled holes

@@pierrelucbelanger4798 so a fan for the ESC is going to be a bit different that than a fan on the motor heatsink like I did in this video. I don’t think screwing directly into the ESC heatsink fins would work very good because they are also a harder type of metal where as the motor heatsink was aluminum and easy for the screws to bite into. Best bet might be to buy an ESC heatsink fan that has the clip on bracket

Thanks! The slash was from 115Chandler1 and Mudguyrc gave me the LCG kit for it. Yea it’s shame Mudguyrc made good videos to.

I bought a Nitro 2.5 Rustler from my best friend's neighbor around 2007 and it was pretty old then. I still have it today and it still runs and drives fantastic. I love that little old pos.

Can't beat a 4x4 slash. Good to see you back with Rc stuff. That still the slash you got from Mudguy?.I use to like that channel also. I've got a few slashes, and even with all the new stuff,they are still my go-to basher. Great video

Yes I only had room to bring one RC with me to CO and I chose the slash 4x4 because of its versatility and I have been very happy so far! I believe 115chandler1 gave the the slash 4x4 and Mudguyrc gave the the LCG kit for it, but yup it’s still this one. I’ve been looking at the XMAXX and it looks sweet, maybe if I find a good deal on it someday haha! Thanks for sticking with me, glad you liked the video 👍

I currently just have the slash 4x4 with me. The rest of my cars are back in Oregon with my parents. Want to try to get my summit back at some point.

The 2075 doesn't run in snow for very long the plastic gears strip out after 4 runs.

Thanks for this. I put a really fast 35kg servo in my Revo and the wheels turn sluggishly on the ground even though the servo does full range of motion almost instantly. Quite surprising to see such a small adjustment, the thickness of one shim, has such a big difference.

I don’t know about your slash but my slashes wheel bearings don’t like water lol. They kinda came apart and spit the outer bearings race up the cv shaft

I always buy boca bearings stainless steel bearings kits for all my cars along with keep them well oiled and they never give me issues!

@@tylermartin2631 yeah, they don’t need to be boca either. Any stainless will work good. Boca just has a good rep
