It's about a 90 minute drive East of Toronto on the 401 highway. I'm primarily a singer (Bass) and like most genres of music, both secular and sacred. I did receive my grade 2 in vioiln from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto back in the late 1980s. I didn't practice enough 😉. My Grandfather used to play his banjo and sing this song to me and my sister 70 years ago.

My grandmother sang this for my new baby named katie.

Lancaster University opened before the on campus rooms where finished and many students had to take a bus to their lodgings 10 miles away. It was a tradition that community singing took place on the last bus (the on campus bars were finished). One knight my friend decided to lead the bus in a rendition of "Lloyd George". Half way through, he forgot the words !!!
