Hello, I had a very bad experience purchasing from 'Antelope Audio'. About a year ago, I bought an interface bundled with the 'Edge Solo'. The microphone stopped working shortly after the one-year warranty expired, so they won't fix anything unless I pay $80 for the microphone repair. Additionally, they gave me some plugins that only work when recording. If I want to process the signal from my software, I have to pay an additional $200 for AFX2DAW, which I find unfair and inconsiderate given what I paid for the interface. I don't recommend it

Does the conversion only happen once you route the line in to a digital input (DAW) or your DAW to an analog output? For example, can I take a signal from my preamps, route it to a compressor and back, then to an EQ and back, all without any conversion, and then send it to my DAW? Or would conversion happen at every stage?

Does the loop back work like on the RME UFX. I basically set a channel to loop back and then I could I route the audio from anywhere (in my case I record from Spotify) to that Loopback channel so I can use it in my DAW.

You guys literally made me lose all my projects because of these dumbass loops you have to jump through in order to use this hunk of shit. Rebooting my Mac and having it recovery mode. Like bruh I’ve never had to do this with universal audio or slate digital audio.

Dude this interface sucks ass. You can buy better ones that are literally plug and go with amazing latency and processing power w/ FX.

This video sucks. He suggests a video for the newer Macs with the “link below” and there is no link….. this is the price I have to pay for having a high end computer like a Mac with an M2 processing chip. SMH.

do you have a video for setting up the Axino mic w/ logic? I can't hear the audio from the mic while recording although I can see it's getting a signal and I'm able to hear the other tracks. The output in logic is the same for all tracks, stereo out. I can hear the Axino audio during playback but not record.

do you know where I can download some other folks presets for vocals?

To the mac M1+ newcomers: 1) install the software. 2) connect the usb mic to the mac. 3) don't EVER disconnect when it says you should. 4) do the restart/restore policy changes for the mac to accept 3rd party kernel extensions. There is an article in the support section of antelope's site for that 5) reboot. 6) Install the kernel extension via the Antelope Launcher. 7) authorize the extension in the mac Settings ... 8) reboot ... should be good to go. I second the other comments the software is pretty bad, no explanation, very unintuitive. I'd say about the worst I have seen in Audio related stuff.

The card makes a clicking sound when I move it when it's turned on with a microphone attached The second - I can’t adjust the balance for recording vocals in any way - from a quiet place to a loud place - there is an overload (on the previous 276 volts, there is simply no such problem) I tried applying compressors on the channel but it didn't help and I don't really understand if the signal remains raw if I add compression (because I need the raw files for post processing)
