Literally, psyched to hear about the blackhole reference!! There are a couple of moments within Radiant, Embrace Oblivion, and aRtifacts when it makes me think about that. If we were able to perceive and have consciousness within one, I’d imagine an agonizingly painful experience of the forces that blackholes exert on you would stretch you out into matter back into infinitesimally small quantum particles and essentially making you into strings of mass. If time were to hypothetically move forward in time it be some weird mirror universe that just reflects all the action that leads you to the verison of yourself that's trapped in the blackhole. Singularity in some sense being a portal to that parallel universe and there exists a version of yourself that could very well be you but the improved version of yourself.(one that had not made the decisions that you perceive make you the worst version) You still bitterly experienced the evolution of yourself as you already have but in the physical sense. You being ripped apart and then morphed back into yourself, literally getting ripped apart and reborn again. The singularity is that thing that causes the full circle moment. The descriptions of Into The Eventide and Artifacts, chef’s kisses!! People who don’t read lyrics ◔_◔ Missin out on the layer of the song honestly. SHAME! Thanks so much for the breakdown! Really appreciate it. I normally don't give two flying poops about lyrics bc 90% of them are just garbage. Now that I heard what they're about in Empyrean, I gotta say that I hate them now, lol. No offense, but the themes "being in a dark place and realising that there's a way out" is so washed out already 🥴 I liked Alex' lyrics much better (even though he got pretty cheesy by the end too). Empyrean is an album I can not get enough of. I hope we can be blessed with a new album this coming year.

Love this album in particular so much hey and have been priveleged to see some songs live THREE times (Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane in 2024... I did a road trip, it was epic). Met Kyle at Canberra, such a cas guy just hanging out while Cattle Decapitation powered on. Interstellar?! Ha! Love it. Bitter Taste and Radiant Ascension are my favs. Radiant Ascension is one of my fav songs full stop. Ok, Ill stop gushing now.
