I remember being there, enjoying their performance (I later bought their album). I also however repeatedly had the thought that Opal were probably more of an indoor night-time band, both in their vibe and in what I imagined was use of echoing-off-the-walls acoustics to create their wall of sound (rather than the fuzz disappearing off into the endless big daytime air).
