Hello My next door neighbour Alison was 60 in April 2024 She had semi retired from the NHS Therefore she was able to take her NHS pension Her and her husband went to Spain for 3 weeks in July 2024 Then they went on the Queen Anne in August 2024 Norwegian Fjords cruise They are going on Cunard Caribbean Cruise this year They love the QA - it’s a brand new ship 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴☝️☝️

I enjoy your video so much, great work! May I ask is it worth it to visit Kinosaki and spend a night there to enjoy the private onsen at Ryokan? Because I'm not comfortable to visit the public one. Thank you so much

@@almiradiaz8998 thank you so much -we’re glad you enjoyed it 😊 In our humble opinion, we would say yes. Even if you have a private onsen, just strolling around the main town in your yukata, visiting the shops and seeing the canal and maybe going up the rope way will fill your day there. We really wanted to visit Kinosaki due to its history and picturesque beauty, we absolutely loved it 😊

Could i go hot spring in day and come back kyoto. Do not stay over night at kinosaki?

It depends on the train schedules and how long you wish to stay in Kinosaki. The direct train from Kyoto to Kinosaki is a very limited (two trains in a day, I believe). There are other train options but it’s not direct, so it will also depend on how much your budget is. I would recommend using google maps, it shows all the train schedules for the day - it was very useful.

I thought that the willow trees at Kinosaki Onsen came from West Lake in Hangzhou, China ... but when I asked the local municipal government office they told me this is just a legend ... um, technically, before you enter the baths here you are supposed to pray at Onsen-Ji (but if you are not Buddhist it doesn't matter I think ! ) (^_^)
