Sorry for commenting on an old video but im just asking. Your idler cog is metal, is it from MRR? Is it better than plastic cogs? I have only seen modified cogs in the sense of adding bearings or msking it lighter but machining one out of metal would make it heavier, but much stronger!

Was the original they usually don’t fall apart I have done 3 different gens now and some lawn mowers they still kept in good condition but Amazon would be a quick purchase one

Well you need to either delete the level wind and make it a CT conversion, or clean all grease from level wind and bearings, and use the sauce from Rocket Reels. If you’re in Texas, Roy’s Bait & Tackle has it. Only one part of a drop on one ball bearing is how they lube the abec 5 bearings and cast over 800 feet, but they have to do the lube after each use. One or the other but I could hear the grease bogging down the reel. Nice video, bro.

Thanks for the video. I have the same generator and this was my first time cleaning a carburetor and it started on the first pull after the cleaning. I had a very fine/thin wire that was handy to clean the small holes.

Press on the bottom of the clippers, that’s where the power of the cutters get the strength to cut the line. I’ve cut 30lb braid with ease, and 15lb flouro clean cut. No problem

I still use it I did end up putting stainless steel screws on the joints since the glue being weathered from being outside and with the movement has loosened some joints the screws across the glue areas makes the joints tighter

I am the one who bought the combo from you. The reel now has hybrid ceramic bearings and bearinged work gear. A solid 100 yard caster over the should cast.

Can you please elaborate on the replacement carb you mentioned in a reply you made, to turn it into a LP generator? I bought the same generator 4 months ago, shame on me for not getting the extended warranty, but the thing won't start now. I was thinking of converting it to LP or preferably tri-fuel (gasoline, LP (Propane), and Natural Gas) assuming I can get it running again and it's not a $650 paper weight. LP would be a definite plus as the camper I bought it to power has two exterior LP hookups and only use LP as a backup for the water heater or in rare occasions actually use the stove in the camper, "desperation" really has set in to get dinner cooked.

Yes it does but make sure that your gps is set correctly I lost a second one in a remote beach in Corpus Christi Texas because i had no cellphone service and I couldn’t get the drone to come back home since the point of origin was not available

Noticed there wasn’t much (or any) grease from the chorizo.... when I did mine from the tube, I had a ton of grease on the griddle

Depends on what chorizó u use most of the chorizo in tubes have a ton of fat I use San Manuel chorizo which is popular in south Texas but u can order it on line

Lost 3 wish drones already sorry they don’t have on board gps that’s what I learned when my gps on my phone did not have service at a remote beach and when I set the return gps it plotted mikes away so with the wind it was gone
