It's great but the 8s Outcast exb is my favorite. I have all the large scale trucks and right now I'd recommended the Redcat Vigilante over them all. It's as good or better and cost $150 less.

I was conflicted because hobby shops were saying this is the best so that messed me up especially after I had to put $300 into the new one to do what I wanted to with it. Traxxas frustrates me sometimes with how their stock cars are so unprepared for what we actually do with these things. Good car after metal driveshafts, some fans, badland tires. They might sell it with Sledgehammer tires now Idk.

Wow best SCX6 i've seen yet! AWESOME!!!! The fact you got this for an XMAXX???? DUDE WTF? On the other hand - it did look a bit like the tires want to float on the snow a bit much - granted you were climbing a steep and slick hill but i feel like my TRX4 with chains bites harder than that ---- can't be waht 2 maybe 3 inches of snow there from the looks of roofs and whatnot. Still awesomeness and scale to the bone!!!!! Maybe portals would go better or weight over hte front - looks like it should be heavy out front though with the Mog boy and metal rack.... i guess all the weight of the extra axle set at rear was holding it back a bit. Really fun to watch how rigs respond to different grip/weight placement. Thats one bespoke 6x6 let alone SCX6. I say it to all the folks make SCX6 vids --- please add a few moments of something univerally scale so we all get the idea how giant these rigs are --- 12oz soda can next to the tires would be great. :)

I have gotten used to it but when I took it completely apart for a three year go through it took a long time to get it all together so yes compared to others it is kind of a pain. Even the shocks can be difficult if you have no experience with it but stay with it because its a great truggy.

Definitely TLR if you can. The 1/8 scale is much beefier vehicle than the 3s and can be as nimble with a nice servo. I also have the upgraded bellcrank which might help a bit too. Thanks for watching!

Yeah I was Leary after I put it on but so far so good. Super flexible one from 3d rc is ok or any rpm one might be better choice. This one does looks good though.
