for anyone running BBI for the first time 1. I envy you 2. you can tell what monsters will spawn based on the enemies in a room, for example if you want to farm death if the first room when you go in the main enterance has saurians that means death will spawn when rancid bait meat is used/all enemies are killed if it's not saurians garms will spawn. every room in BBI two rolls off two possible encounter tables (with exception of the "Arena rooms") after beating daimon the 1st time the room where you meet barroch the 1st time? in BBI 2 a garunteed cursed dragon will spawn when theres enough corpses/rancid bait meat. Knowing this can be useful for you to farm specific materials, if you don't like the encounter table you got going out of BBI and back in will lead to you getting the other enounter table

Funny how the game INTENDS for the Bow users to be the Guns of this game but due to a mix of oversight and a little bit of TeeHee all the Magic Users are walking shotguns when using Holy Bolts.

It really feels like the first! Both in good ways and bad lol. Really wonky some of the npcs and how you still can just walk out of the prison is really funny😂

I want to love this game, but I can't overlook it's many flaws. It crashes constantly (I meet the recommended system requirements), and while disabling DLSS helped a bit, I can't go more than a 30 minutes without it just dying on me. There are also some janky AI/quest designs. I've had issues like quest NPCs not spawning, AI bugging out and becoming not responsive. There's also a serious lack of new monsters/bosses. This game needed another year or two in the oven.

Im sorry to hear that youve had such an experience... It is unforgivable how this launch has been dealt with and honestly speaks volumes to how the industry is now. "Fix it with patches later"

@@BrowsleyYeah I'm sure by the time the inevitable expansion comes out it will be a great experience, but only time will tell. There were some truly great moments in the 20+ hours I've had so far. It's just roughly a quarter of that time was spent dealing with issues I shouldn't have needed to.

I’ve been reopening Skyrim and it’s been a blast. Oblivion on the other hand is a completely different story. The amount of time I’ve put into that game essentially makes any play through an auto pilot.

for an easy way into mods I'd recommend Nolvus it's a guided installation of a mod pack self installer. You choose your desired settings like resolution and enb and click install! the installer will install the entire pack and resolve conflicts for you. the only thing i had to do was wait and press play!

I had the same problem with survival mode as you. However, I just discovered relaxed survival mode, which keeps the hunger and sleep mechanics but lets you fast travel. I know you don't like mods, but this will make survival mode 100 times better to deal with!

I love survival mode. Even modded the game to make it HARDER bc I hated that feeling of God power after level 70... taking on that first dragon at the western watchtower before level 30 is pretty much suicide in my game now
