Had a 2010, and now have the 2020 I ordered just before the pandemic hit hard. I glad I don’t have the anchor locker as mine has a molded spot for an anchor anyways. I will say I preferred the two insulated storage boxes on the bow my 2010 had versus the one I have now and a Engle cooler. ( obviously wasn’t a deal breaker for me ) I do like the seat and backrest I have now compared to the split seats the 2010 has. Put the 150 on both and to be honest it’s not needed, it is scary fast, which brings me to trimming the tabs I have now are clearly better but for what ever reason I preferred the 2010 maybe it was because it had a indicator gauge that let you know what position the tabs were in, common, why no indicator on boat of this caliber? No it’s not needed but it is nice for reference. My biggest complaint though came recently when I went to open my hatch to the release well and the bolt that secures the “dog” for the latch literally twisted in half, this is a 5/16” bolt which literally twisted in half right above the nut above the dog where the keeper pin goes through the bolt. This blows me away that it happened let alone happened on a boat with less the 100 hrs kept in a garage and services annually. My complaint isn’t that it happened it’s that when I contacted MBC ( not to ask for warranty, or complain that this happened on my $60,000 boat with less then 100 hours ) to order a new one I was told I had to order from my dealer. I get the partnership thing but something like this you should have just told me who manufactured the latch and let me order it online instead of making us pay more with third party. I will check TA Mahoney etc but will pay dealer prices if I have to just to keep everything original. Sorry about the rant but felt you should know how someone who has owned two of your boats felt ( right or wrong ) when dealing with customer service. I would have sent one right out to you since it should have never happened. Still Love the platform. Tight lines.

Hi, did you have a leak problem on the vacuum bagging or the gum tape? In such a large surface area like that, a tiny leak can be very frustrating to find the leak location. I had a hard time to find the small leak problem. Do you have tips on leak problem?

It doesn’t appear these boars have trim tabs. Is that feature a hit or a miss?

A few nice tweaks in there like a revised rear seat back rest and small tuna door. Is the gel coat still off white or did you go to a brighter white?

This dude knows his boats. He's not spewing mindless info off a spec sheet, you can tell this guy goes to the factory often, sits with the engineers, and actually FISHES on these rigs. MGB has to be the best boat manufacturer out there when we're talking money to value ratio. A 65mph boat, that drafts a foot and one inch, can take your family 50 miles offshore on the right day, and has a performance-minded stepped hull. I mean what else could you need?

What I do know if that Clay Cowart, the guy in the video, still owns this boat despite upgrading to his larger FrontRunner brand boats. This pathfinder seems like the perfect first boat.

Stepped hull sounds great. But does it mean you aren’t able to run a thru-hull transducer for reading at speed?
