The Havana Cabins are private, the only people that are in this area are those who are staying in a Havana Cabin. Yes, you are away from the outside railing, but the best part is that it's like your own private large sitting area. I'm going on my 2nd cruise on the Horizon shortly and staying again in a Havana Cabin. It's always my first choice on a Vista Class Ship

Hey RJ...Nice job on the real time driving. Question...is the traffic any better on a Sunday? And is the traffic any better the earlier you go? We have a April Cruise coming up on the Carnival Celebration at terminal F on a Sunday. Also is the traffic a little better earlier if we get a 9:00 boarding time say coming from a hotel by the airport or should be still plan on leaving an hour early? Thanks Buddy!

on the weekend most people are all getting off the ships at the same time. You can have 8 large ships with 4000 people getting off of each ship by 10:30 and another 4000 getting on those ships. I have not found a good time to get to the terminal as of yet, fyi, i loved the celebration. I'm back to Miami in Nov 2024 on the Carnival Horizon

yes, they have people there to direct you with luggage drop off & to get to the parking garage

If there is a cruise that leaves before yours then the garage will most likely be full. In the past when another ship left before my cruise and the garage was full only handicap were admitted in the garage. That has happened several times with me.

So you can catch a taxi from the cruise port that will take you to both Mountain Top and the beach? Can you tell them specifically which beach you want to go too? I want to go to Mountain Top and Coki Beach when I am there in April.

Yes, you can catch a taxi at the cruise port. You will need to tell them where you want to go, they will assign you the correct taxi

Does the outside sliding glass door lock and unlock from the outside?

It does not lock on the outside. But there is a secure door out on the boardwalk to access the Havana area that you will need your room key to enter

always give yourself enough time, I usually give myself one hour before my check in time to get to the terminal, drop off my luggage, park my car. I cruise of Miami a few times per year.

The New Mardi Gras was very nice, lots of new restaurants & things to do. You will like it. Then you need to reach out to me for pricing on the Celebration which was awesome too
