Thank you for showing something different. Everyone else either does the train that you filmed or walk around the town. I haven't been to Alaska, but I feel the train ride is worth doing once, and only once.

Hahahaha. I got cold watching you. We did a 15 day cruise to Alaska out of Long Beach a few years ago. Love Alaska. We went toward the end of August and the weather was great. Sunny every day and in the 60’s. You’re going to have to get Dina on an Alaska cruise with you so that you two can hike that trail in Juneau. Great vlog. Thank you for sharing.

We missed out on going up on the tram back in 2022. We were the first ship for the season (right after the pandemic) and it wasn’t operating yet. For sure in 2025. Great video! 😊

What a lovely relaxing time out video. I do pop over regularly - I just don't leave a calling card. This one so appeals as it is my sort of get-a-way lucky ladies and what a fabulous place. Was that a raccoon? You really are enjoying that 'out in the middle of nowhere' lifestyle aren't you? Such a contrast to the cruises. Loved this- like actually being there. 😎🇳🇱🙋♀🥝 👌

Do you have a video about the excursions you took from the Pride of America? We are going in April 2025 for our 50th wedding anniversary and I would love to know what excursions you took. So many of the KZbin videos I have watched have such younger people it’s a bit hard to figure out which ones are good for us. Thank you so much for your reply! ❤

Hi there! Sorry I took so long to reply. I just seen your message. To be perfectly honest with you, excursions are super expensive. What my husband and I did was rent a car for the day or if we were in port two days, we would get the car for two days, and then do our own thing. After the embarkation video, I have videos of things that we did. Not necessarily excursions, but we went to places that had a lot of tourist there from the ship. For a cheaper price, and at our schedule, not anybody else’s. We did go to a luau once and I also have it on in my channel, and that’s probably the only thing that we paid extra for but again we went in a rented car. We are older now and I am with my husband we like to take things slower and not be too rushed. When I go with friends or family it’s another story lol! So renting a car was perfect for us because we took our time exploring the island. I would just google popular places, beautiful waterfalls, you know whatever you feel that you wanna do or see. I hope this really helps you.

Old man Franks. We did a lot of work there repairing things. That's all deck boards on top in the back. We did the inside. I mean we did a lot there through the years. They are called otters. They look very sweet but they can be very mean. We even had them come up somewhat close to us while we were in the water , working 20 years of building docks in the Chain of lakes we come across many things that can hurt you or kill you. Definitely have to thank Jesus😇🙏

Speaking of alligator attack, while me and Larry was in the water building the dock for the city, the big one on lake Howard across from McDonald's. We were in the water up to our neck . And as we were working I was like 3 ft away from Larry and then a gator. Maybe 3 ft came up right beside him. I mean inches inches. I'm saying we had a stick in the hand and we just pushed it away from us. Thank God it was a small one but Mama was swimming out Maybe 40 ft out from us. She was at least nine ft. The small ones they don't know they should be scared of you yet. They'll come right up to you. I've had him come up to me. Plenty of times. It makes our job Interesting . My family always ask did you have a good day at work and I always say well I didn't get eaten. I had an excellent day😂😂😂😂. If you go to my channel and scroll down past my cat videos I got a lot of the dock videos of some of the docks we built if you want to check that out sometime 👍 now back to the video

I'm going to comment as I watch the video. I see the little wiener dog. I love those and then right after the dog is one of the docks we built. I work for Larry Gohn Marine construction for 20 years now so I'm sure you seen a lot of our docks - now back to the video
