3:15 - You summed up what's going wrong in most of our churches.

One of the most important points to mention. Many pulpits have sadly turned into stages; this is where the Holy Spirit decreases and self (pride) increases.

That picture @ 8:00 was pictured on the steps of faith chapel Pentecostal assemblies of the world in Peckham. The church was pastor by bishop B A Pitt at the time of photo. On the side note I didn't know Rev Mead came from Clapton. wow!
@NathanL117 ай бұрын
Very interesting. Thanks for the info. Yes, Bazil Meade's musical background started at Clapton when Rev Kennedy (Clapton's first Pastor) taught him to play the guitar.

@NathanL1111 ай бұрын
@@ShayeAntonStewart2002 Oh yes. I remember the altar call too, especially with the old school chorus medley. I sang in the Mass Choir that year. We closed the convention singing "You Can Make It" by JJ Hairston 🔥

Verse one - though we are placed in the tomb, amid earth's sorrow and gloom, when Gabriel's trumpet shall sound we shall arise, we'll soar to summits unknown, where mortal never had flown, we'll meet our blessed Redeemer in the skies. Chorus We shall arise, meet in the skies , When Gabriel blow his trumpet loud No more the grave will us enshroud There'll be no sorrow there on that bright 'morrow fair When GOD shall dry all the tears from weeping eyes, We shall arise, meet in the skies The earth and sea give up their dead To join the Glory on ahead Earth's sorrows never fall, death Angel never call When Gabriel's trumpet shall sound we shall arise ! Verse two - back to the earth we must go, our bodies moulder below, when Gabriel's trumpet shall sound we shall arise, each bone will find its true place, through love and wonderful grace, we'll meet our blessed Redeemer in the skies. Verse three - the graves will open some day, the saints be taken away, when Gabriel's trumpet shall sound we shall arise, that will be glory indeed, no more the tempter can lead, we'll meet our blessed Redeemer in the skies. Coda - that morning, we, shall, rise.
