Very similar to Abraham Laboriel's technique, though Remco's style is distinctly different.

Awesome-thanks. It was hard to decipher what he was doing-it ups the funk a bit

Love the neck shape but the string spacing and electronics for me make it not my first choice but if I saw one for a good price I wouldn’t hesitate. They definitely have a really hot sound

Damn, comparing this to how he looked at the NAMM 2008 video wild, it’s crazy what 4 years can do to a guy

Just starting to learn this technique, really like it because it can be more mellow than traditional slap but it still makes ghost notes as percussive as I like them to be

Remco is by far one of the most unique bass players I've ever seen.

I've been playing bass for years. Both fingerstyle and pick, my slap and pop is good. I've done session work, a few adverts and other smaller musical pieces professionally... I see a new technique, I think "best add that to my repertoire" yet here I am with a thumb and finger like non-musical wet lettuce wondering what the hell is going on? 😆

My o my Andy that puppy barks…..I like the tone…deep and clear. You built a real winner there. That bass and amp combination is a for sure winner in my book. Nice job. If I wasn’t a Christian man I would be jealous. LoL thanks for the video. I’m gonna give building one for myself and hope mine turns out half of what you have done. God Bless. Sincerely, Pops Fitch

Andy, are the nj4se a kind of 70's jazz in a hc format? While the nj4v are the 60's jazz bass versión?... Or are they both a kind of Split Coil sound?

Really nice. I have a fretless with the same string configuration. I think this design should be considered more often when talking about 12 string bass.
