This is so beautiful. I am literally in awe right now. Gorgeous! Lestat is the devil obviously but is Armand an angel? The scenes chosen make it seem like Lestat was the angel also because he looks so ethereally beautiful. But Armand looks kinder in some ways. Poor poor Louis.

Question... they were tried for Lestat's death, by Lestat. But he is fine. Lestat made, and killed a vampire in New Orleans. Shouldn't he tried for that?

Lestat didn't killed a vampire he made in New Orleans. If you're talking about Antoinette, Claudia and Louis killed her. For Lestat himself, they probably judge the intention of killing/the attempt of murder.

So it's actually important to understand, before anything else. That these Vampire rules/laws aren't actual 'real'. The best way to describe it is, cult shit. All of these Vampires break these "laws" all the time. Therefore the entire 'kangaroo court' play, was a sham, essentially. They (Santiago soecifically) just wanted to kill Louis & Claudia, and used their "crimes" to do it... but to your comment specifically, as pointed out in the actual trial. They were being "tried" and condemned for the "attempted" murder of Lestat, but for the actual murder of Antionette. Plus Claudia broke pretty much every other rule. Even after she joined the coven, she continued to break them. Lestat should have been tried and condemned, and said so himself, for breaking at least 3 of the "laws". Including making a child-Vampire. But the trial itself wasn't real, and the laws aren't real.
