awesome reveal! i notice it jiggles quite a bit, how does that effect accuracy?
@JohnDoe-sj4rq8 ай бұрын
Seriously the jiggle at 2:32 is nuts! From having seen 1619 over the years, their robots do seem to be a little on the wobbly/cumbersome side in general (not hating, big 1619 fan). But they always seem to still be highly effective at making shots/scoring. For example, in 2022 their intake was super wobbly, but worked just fine. In 2016, their shooter was super heavy and slow, but highly reliable. I think their excellent controls help make up the difference.

@@JohnDoe-sj4rqAbsolutely! We have long maintained the design philosophy of "if it bends it doesn't break" on 1619
@lzrstar35748 ай бұрын
@@JohnDoe-sj4rqthey don’t need their intake to be stable while they are shooting and it is stowed, but even if it jiggled like the that on the ground it would still pick up a note just fine

We did a minor redesign on our pivot after the Utah regional to remove the jiggle in it.

Hello, thanks for the video. I like the idea of chore cards. I’m thinking about starting a FLL for 6-10 year olds. I have a few questions. How many meetings do you have before a competition? How long is each meeting?
@shiningexamples3605 Жыл бұрын
We start in the summer for 6 weeks and then we have 12-15 meetings in the fall. For a total of 20-22 meetings and each meeting is 1.5 hours each week.
