In the ‘64 staggered Texas grey bottom set ’, is the neck and middle the same as the 64 staggered vintage grey bottom boutique set? In other words, is only the bridge different between these 2 sets??

Many people report that the bridge is too low and that it's hard to restring without moving the bridge. Did you fix this yet?

I have these VEH pickups in a Schecter Damian FR and I absolutely love them. These sound great clean as well as with heavy distortion. You definitely have sustain for days. GFS pickups are amazing....I am still trying to decide on which ones to buy next.

Wow. This is the worst pickup demo I have ever seen, which is impressive considering I've seen a bunch of Earl's other GFS demos. These demos have to be the biggest troll of all time (aside from the shipping prices GFS charges).

I am looking at one of these for an 80s style super strat build and am curious if I could use the neck pickup asa bridge pickup for lower output but same tonal characteristics as they are a clear even sounding pickup

Sounds awesome....GFS can be hit or miss but is usually a pretty darn good product.

I installed a Slick Fullerton Lead (bridge) pickup with a couple other GFS pickups (AlNiCo II and then a Surf 90) and found that, despite following the wiring instructions for each pickup, the Slick is out of phase with respect to the GFS line. Installer beware! That written, it was a simple matter of reversing the wiring on the bridge pickup and everything is golden. The Fullerton Lead pickup is a great sounding pickup!

I plan on having one of these in the bridge, and a vintage 59 in the neck, and a vintage stagger single coil in the middle on the guitar im building. Probably also going to use an xgp neck too.

Looks like a jaguar with a tele bridge pickup, and a neck p90. Many tele players love that configuration. It's nice I like it. Didn't weigh it, but it looks fairly light even though it's ash. Thanks for the video.

I've been eyeing up the purple metallic of one of these and I see that there are two different listings; one is part # SBS_VS200_MP_V and the other is without the "V". They seem to be two difference prices, but I haven't been able to decipher what the differences are. Any insight into this? Thanks!!

I feel like the character of the amp is drowning out the tone of all of these bass demos. I’m interested in a budget p bass. But I want it to have that classic p bass tone, and this doesn’t really demonstrate that at all. Can’t find any other examples online either.

Ace Frehley fans are upset with this guy. He tells it like it is. We romanticize that Ace was this or that. He was my hero when I was a kid. Fact is? He is lazy. He didn’t work hard in the studio. He is who he is. Love him or hate him. This guy brought in material to try and help him have a great album. You can DEFINTELY tell who is Ace and who’s the band. Ace hasn’t changed. You may like or hate Paul and Gene, but it was a task dealing with Ace. That’s a fact. Decent album. Sadly, Ace and his management will throw Steve under the bus.

Would be cool to see Steve do a tour w/ Def Lep as a 3rd guitarist. Kinda like Iron Maiden does.
