Wow, the moment he starts playing his age just disappears like it's nothing, his playing here is just as skillful as it was back then in the 60-s!

Nobody got along with Ginger. That being said, he was classy here. Bruce was an amazing talent.

Heartwarming to see. Jack and Ginger were like siblings , they fought and made up. Ive NEVER read any interview where any of the two talked sh-t about one and other, only maybe "Well you known Ginger -that-" or "Jack -that-" but never any cross words. You may search and see. And that tells me that they respected each other and knew that their chemistry was Special.

Ginger, Bonzo, Moonie, Carmine Apiece, Ian Paice-the UK produced great musicians, but the drummers! Only Neil Peart can stand with them.

I read that not too long before he died he called Ginger and said "i'm dying Ginger f*** you" and slammed the phone, Ginger called him back they were like Johnny Ramone and Joey Ramone they could work together but they hated each other.

What was the idiot at the front thinking holding his hand out like that? Expecting a frail old legend to waddle over and bend down over the monitors to shake his hand? What an entitled moron.

Not much of a talker, but he sure gets the message through on those skins. Definitely a hard man, not many heroin addicts make it to his age, he was just too ornery to die. RIP, you deserve it. ☮️

Ginger could be difficult but no one more loyal. Whether talking about jack or Eric he was their greatest fan.. and he knew what he was talking about.. cream broke up too early they should have took on Stevie winwood and expanded what they were playing added a little British folk little prog rock jamming blind faith with jack basically. Seems a waste now looking back

Always loved Ginger Baker even though he seems like he could be an incredibly difficult guy. I watched the documentary that I think was called "be afraid of mr. Baker" or something like that and it was just amazing. He really is a scary man and in my opinion as a guitarist with over 50 years of experience, I think Ginger was the best drummer to come out of England at the time. Oh man, his Jazz chops, funky groovy chops and he could just Flat Rock that kit!

In the end, Ginger buries the hatchet with Jack. Too bad he had to wait until after Jack was dead to do so. Now, Ginger is with him. I hope they are getting on okay, finally.

When you listen to Cream's music through the lens of Ginger's love of African rhythms, it takes on a new life. A ballad like The Coffee Song, for example, has Ginger thundering away on his toms underneath it all and it really makes the song! R.I.P. Ginger and Jack.

I love this song so much, but it doesn't seem to translate well outside of that 80s context. The bestt performance is that Knebworth one with the pink suit and big hair!!

Jack was not just a bass player,he was one of the best musicians of the 60's and 70's, he also was one off the best songwriters. People don't realize the songs that he wrote that other artists had hits with. RIP JACK

The vast majority of “music lovers” will never understand what was lost with the deaths of Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. The greatest one-two punch of a rhythm section in rock and roll history and there will certainly never be another trio like Cream. Thank you Mr. Baker, thank you Mr. Bruce, and thank you Mr. Clapton for some of the greatest rock and roll the world will ever know. RIP Jack and Ginger. All respect due.

As a drummer for 52 years and still playing, I cut my teeth on English drummers. Ginger Baker, Bill Ward, John Bonham, and Ian Paice. I guess that's why I'm still around and still being used here in Texas. Rock and roll will never die, but it's always been a little bit sick! Ha!

I heard a story; Jack on his deathbed called Ginger ,told him he was dying and to fuck off, on that he hung up . Ginger called back but Ginger wouldn't take the call. Sometimes when you get three great musicians , you don't always get 3 x 1 in this case it was a perfect 10 !
