Yes it’s mounted on the hood. The AMA made a competition rule deeming a camera on the helmet “unsafe” so had to come up with an alternative. The chest mount fits weird with all the other protective gear I wear so, on the quad seemed like the next best option

It should pick up about all but the last quart but I’ve had them suck up even less

Take off the lights for less weight

Just depends on how much money you can spend. There’s some cheaper stuff that helps or even free stuff that makes a big difference

Absolutely love them. Took several races last season to remember how to tune a spring shock, but BNR Motorsports got us dialed in and they are amazing

Haha Florida is it’s own animal for sure. It’s “easy” in a sense of obstacles, but it’s absolutely the most physically demanding race we do all season. And thank you👍🏼

Thumb, but I used to run a twist 11 years ago, I won my xc2 championship and 2 overall wins on a twist.

It’s because we’re so far back that anyone with some pull can’t see us. Most the guys walking around checking tethers have no idea they aren’t allowed. A friend of mine races 4x4A and at big buck he was told to take his off. Meanwhile I saw 2-3ppl with them on top of their helmets a row or 2 In front of me. I guarantee they’d make walker take his off.

Goes to show how competitive FTR races are... That looked like a GNCC start

We start with our hands on our helmets so it adds a really unique change to the start procedure. Pretty smart really, nobody can start early if you can’t touch the start button

It gets interesting sometimes with the difference in closing speeds coming up on riders but just an added challenge. Definitely whooped out!
