My original intention for this humidifier was to use it for plants that require high moisture levels. The increased humidity in my room made the room warmer and more comfortable. I had first ran the humidifier for 4 hours with the timer setting for it. After the first hour, I checked my room and can feel the difference. When the full 4 hours was up, I checked again and noticed that the humidifier was shut off as it is suppose to. The moisture level never seem to get passed 56/57%. I then let it run until all the water is used up, which it wasn't all used up. There are still some left in the base that you are not suppose to add water to. I filled up the water tank all the way again, being careful when removing it from the base. Some left over water may spill out. After putting it back on and setting the unit to auto, I let it operate. It didn't stop running, rather I don't know if it did at any point since I didn't check it regularly, for 24 hours after which the water in the tank ran out. The moisture reading never passed 56/57%, which may be a good thing for me. Being situated right next to my bed, the noise was not very noticeable with the occasional water gurgle from time to time as the unit ran.

Everyone that is selling a new washing machine should TELL the buyer (!) so that they don't think it is faulty and send the dang thing back >> only to find out later that it was the transit bolts blinkin' heckers... 😵

the commercial say typical moisture produced by average family is 12 litres of water per day which might be true.. but keep in mind this little things barely collect 1 litre during a whole month. so basically, they are pretty useless, as I learned :/

Beware ! Dont buy this product!! I had solid oak flooring installed in my house 30 years ago and only used Bona cleaner. They always looked fabulous. Then I saw an ad for the Bona floor polish and the machine and bought them both. I only used them a few times as the machine quickly broke and stopped working. Long story short, the polish completely destroyed my floors. The polish left a milky film on the floors and there are now scuff marks everywhere. I contacted the reputable company that installed my floors and he confirmed that it was the polish and said it was horrible stuff. He contacted Bona to see if there was any agent that could remove the polish from the floors and they said no. My only option is so strip the floors down to the bare wood and start over at a very high price. I contacted the company, but they have failed to respond. Horrible product!!!

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY IN IT!!! I did, it worked fine 3 months, then didn't work properly, and stopped to work, in less then a year. Once it started to work not properly l got in touch with manufacturer, answered only to 2 of my emails, obviously blaming me for how l was using it, asked for my money back, never heard from them. KEEP YOUR MONEY!!!
