does anyone know of an alternative figurine they've come across that they really appreciate? It seems this figure is no longer being produced, as far as I know text-green-game-over (pls, correct me if I'm wrong). There listings on eBay. Perhaps, there will be more coming out in the TOA line in the future? Pls, let us know & thnxx!!

what lead did u use? the darkness looks so good like a pen
@diazee19 күн бұрын
Pentel Super Hi-Polymer 0.5mm 2B Black Lead. The graphite in the B range is going to be darker the higher the number (ie 2B is going to be darker than HB, and 8B darker than 5B, etc.). B leads are softer than H leads, but the B leads are significantly darker, if that's what you're looking for. & thank you so much! hope this helps.

i called it as soon as i saw the thumbnail. the "quirkiest" and more focused on their own face the art youtuber, the worse the art itself is. add to that the overated moleskine sketchbook and you got the whole "i'm such designyy"gurl pack. look, stop posing for the video and zooming in your lips, it's low key uncomfy, you aren't seducing the screen any time soon, and stop it with the weird dramatic pauses in your narration. get to the point, and get better at art lol. this would be better suited for tik tok, chop it up to dazzle and pile on some filters, done.
@allthecolorsinmyhead4 ай бұрын
Moleskine in general has never seemed worth the price, at least not for their art range. That said I have yet to find a watercolor sketchbook I love. Well, I did, but it’s been discontinued. I used to use the strathmore 500 series travel sketchbook, which had 100% cotton paper, but they had some manufacturing problems and opted to scrap the range. Boo! I’ve used the 400 series watercolor sketchbook, but the texture is too uniform for my taste. I just broke into a Viviva sketchbook, but I’m still on the first page so no real review yet.
@diazee4 ай бұрын
thnxx for your thoughtful comment, darling! Yes, I noticed a decline in quality of their other series as well. Maybe they will improve on that paper quality for their watercolor album, but I think it's time to look elsewhere, for sure. What a bummer that the Strathmore 500 series travel sketchbook has been discontinued. I haven't tried the Viviva, but I see that they have a sketchbook with 140lb 100% cotton, cold press pages (I'm guessing that's that one?). It sounds promising., I'll check it out! In the meantime, I am using the Etchr Lab sketchbooks. I broke into the cold press and it's absolutely lovely so far. I have yet to break into the cold press. Worth checking out! & I will be reviewing these in the future. Much Love, darling! xx

These were my main watercolors for a good year or two but I stopped using them because at the time there were no pigment information and since some colors had the word “cadmium” in their name I didn’t know if I was using a genuine Cadmium or if it was just a hue. But recently I’m pretty sure they released their pigment information and turns out they were hues! I’m so happy to get back into them and while I’m sure I won’t like them the same way a did before since I transitioned into western watercolor brands I’m still so excited to use them again 😭 I’m like watching every KZbin video about these 😂

@emmahaslam19054 ай бұрын
I would choose hues over cadmiums thinking they would be likely to be healthier and more environmentally friendly 😊
@Deedeedoodad2 ай бұрын
@NoelleFerneArtit really does depend on the pigment being used as a substitute. I believe a lot of brands are using pyrrols instead of cadmiums and Daniel smith (which is a respected and well loved brand) has started using only hues of those colors so I believe that goes to show how strong they are as contenders. Sure they’re not AS lightfast but they’re not horribly fugitive like lake pigments 😭 not to mention they’re more affordable & safe. If they weren’t toxic I’d always go for them but unfortunately that’s not the case 💔
