Just got fucked up by some pipe. Top drive came down on pipe it bowed and luckily I looked up and it hit my face instead of skull. Shot me 7 feet and luckily no fractures. Missed the 80 and the 8 leg and fell to the floor instead of hitting my back on that shit. Thank god idk how I’m walking my family will want me to quit but idk what I wanna do cause I was really enjoying my time on the rig. Gotta put health first and I’m scared even if I don’t get hurt again just pulling slips all day will fuck up my back even further. 😢 oilfield taught me so much about being a man and was my first productive job where I felt like I added value to the world. Bitter sweet it really isn’t that dangerous but injuries are very real and do happen. I’m one of the lucky ones. Off to school I guess
